A Blanc de Chine Libation Cup. Of rhinoceros horn form on one side with a tiger seated below flowering prunus whilst looking up at a Dragon. The other with a deer below pine and a stork. Chinese 18thC. Height 7.2 cm. Length 13.7 cm. Condition: there is a shallow glaze flake 0.4 cm and 0.3 cm to the rim (See last image) and a small flake in the foot.

A Rare Pale Green Fitzhugh Large Plate. Decorated with the typical pattern using a more unusual paler green enamel. Highlighted with gilding. Chinese C1825. Diameter; 25.0 cm. Condition; excellent, there is a shallow chip/frit 1.0 cm to the rim.

A good Nabeshima dish from the Nabeshima clan’s Okawachi kiln of oval boat shaped form, perhaps inspired by the boat shaped ingots, sychee or yuanbao, and decorated with an auspicious pattern of a pair of Goldfish swimming amongst water weeds. This particular pattern and shape belongs to a group of wares that were approved by the Shogun Ieharu in 1774 and were produced throughout the late Edo period for the consumption of the Shogunate. Chinese late Tang dynasty to Five Dynasties period stoneware ewer with high shoulder tapering down to a slightly flared foot and flat base, the short neck ending in a slightly wider rolled mouth. A double-strand handle connects to the neck and shoulder, and a short straight spout is opposite the handle. Japanese set of 7 blue and white porcelain condiment cups. Each cup is formed with dramatic four lobed foliate rim, eggshell thin body with cobalt blue under enamel scene of Mt. Fuji and flower medallions. The foot of each cup is recessed and incised with lines in a circular order. Dates from the 19th century.
