A classic Kangxi period lotus form dish, molded and formed to resemble an open lotus flower, and painted with radiating panels framing a central medallion. The painting workmanship is wistful and full of charm.

The exterior of the bowl painted with overlapping symmetrically arranged trefoil and peach shaped reserves, each containing a delicately painted kacho-ga motif of shiragiku, white asters, and pheasants and chrysanthemums, kiku ni kiji, traditional autumnal motifs...

A curious set of sake cups decorated with auspicious leaping Carp, Koi, amongst water weeds with stylised waves with ao-dama, blue balls decorated with a repeating scale or imbricated wave pattern, seigaiha, painted in a limited palette of just iron red, gilt and underglaze cobalt blue. This 18th century tea bowl and matching saucer is vibrantly decorated in the naturalistic / botanical Meissein style.

A huge charger decorated with elephant on the center and floral encircling on the cavetto, unglaze the base. PERIOD : late Ming (1566-1643 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 40 cm wide. CONDITION: two small chips on the rim, no cracks, no hairlines and free from restorations.

The dishes are small, absolutely lovely and quite unique with their simple decoration of a flying crane and the other dish with a butterfly decoration. This pair of dishes fascinates by its simplicity. Ming Dynasty, Wanli period ( 1573 - 1620 ) Porcelain dishes with a Cobalt blue decoration, most probably Jingdezhen ware. Diameter : 8,7 cm. Condition : Perfect with a nice glaze and a nice "ping-tone" when tapped. No cracks, no chips - this what looks like small rim chips is covered with glaze.
