The bottom is carved with four sunken characters, old dried seal paste in the grooves. Chinese Green Pottery Ming style garden Column with low relief design of Architectural remnant, from old homes in China, Ca. 19th century, 27 1/2" high, 7 1/2" diameter, with raised low relief design of galloping Horse, big horn Deer, Hawk and long hair Monkey on the tree branches in the deep forest and inside is hollow. The Chinese export wax seal is still intact, and one(1) stained crack about 6" long at just above brown wax seal, and shows brown stain but very tight together.

Finely made grit pattern at the base and quite scarce as a type.

A Japanese Ko Imari plate of moulded shape. Decoration in colours and gilt of bamboo on a red ground, and birds within underglaze blue Ruyi reserves, c 1850. Diameter "8¾/ 22 cm. Condition: some wear to the surface, a chip to under side of rim and to foot rim as seen on photo.
This lacquered leather pillow would have been owned by a wealthy family during the Qing dynasty. Each end has a hand painted floral design with Chinese "well wishing" saying.
Late 18th to early 19th century bronze suigaraake (ashtray) netsuke in a modified hexagonal drum shape, its outside cast with a sinuous water dragon chasing a Precious Gem. Very well designed piece, good detailing, functional netsuke shape. Nice old piece with very pleasant patina on metal. Maximum diameter 1 3/4 inches.
Republic or a little later, black and red lacquered “Dou” offering stem bowl (usually fruit) for an ancestral altar table, with gilt garden and scholar’s theme. This from Guangdong and made for a Chaozhou family, aka Teo Chew, aka Chiu Chow. W: 21cm/8.2in and H: 13cm/5.1 in. There is some warpage, noted in enlargements but if just turn it the right way you won’t notice.

Unusual 19th century Chinese bracelet consisting of fifteen fruit pits, two agate beads and a jadeite one with a “vase”. Each pit is skillfully carved all around with scenes of Chinese scholars involved in various activities: reading scrolls, studying fungus of immortality, or engaged in discussions. Carved in deep relief with precise undercutting and scrolling designs, excellent mellow brown patina. Agate beads are carved with SHOW (long life) characters...
Interesting lot of two bronzeage weapons from the Dong Son Culture, Han Chinese designs of weaponery, c. 300-100 BC.
A very nice consisting of a fine spearpoint with raised shoulds, socket and midrib, and a socketed battleaxe.
Sizes: 9,8 cm for the axe and 12,5 cm. for the spear.
The Dong Son Culture evolved semi-autonomous from the Han Empire in China until the powerful Han-dynasti Nanyue expanded south around 110 BC...
A late Ubaid period stamp seal, probably made during the 4th. millenium BC. The seal in serpentine and of the double side tablet type, engraved with an interesting symethric motif of lines and a scetched animal on the other side...

Early People’s Republic of China molded, green glass vase (emulating celadon jade) and in the style of a Han Dynasty Hu, circa 1960 to 1970. Although millions of decorative items were produced during this period very little has survived to this day, especially anything made of glass. This piece is “as new” condition, with the original label, no damage whatsoever. Today it is easier to find original Han Hu then one of these. H: 28cm/11in and D: 20cm/7.9in.

19th century miniature Hirado porcelain sculpture of a reclining karako (Chinese boy) leaning on his right hand. Excellent crisp modeling with incised details - see his superb dreamy face, well defined hands and clothing details. Beautiful glaze with numerous tiny bubbles giving it depth, unglazed bottom. The line seen on the left side of his face is not a repair, but an original firing crack that got filled with glaze during firing, very pleasant to the touch...
