It is a beautiful piece of blue steatite, 3/8” long (10 mm), an easy-to-carve stone that hardens when heated. Wonderful Ca. 1930 Kyoto-yaki ceramic bowl signed by Nishigawa in a signed original box. Inscripted on the box is the word Nishiki-ga meaning patterned after the obis woven in the Nishiki weaving area of Kyoto. 13cm tall x 28cm in diameter. Great condition.

This is a fascinating ancient Egyptian alabaster vase, c. 1200 BC, 4" tall. It's intact and made from a rough piece of alabaster, with its cracks filled in while it was still forming underground. It was purchased at an antique market in Marin, CA.

Double side Udjat and Wedjat amulet - eye of both RA and Horus, Late Period, c. 660-332 bC.

Size: c. 16 mm. long.

Condition: Good VF, completely intact with finely preserved glaze.

A fantastic quality Middle- or Neo-Assyrian cylinder seal of a tall and thick type, c. 12th.-8th. century BC.

The seal carved in a rare attractive green-black stone with an Archer and winged sphinx. Top and bottom with a fine herringbone band. Multiple symbols in the fields and the archer has a detailed quiver on his back.

Size: 41 mm. tall and 14-15 mm. thick...

Height: 2 cm, diameter 0.8 cm.

Condition: VF, intact with surface corrosion. Better than imprint indicates.

A small vase sculpted in the shape of a cluster of roses covered in cockscomb red by Kiyomizu Rokubei V enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The vase shows the influence of Art-Nouveau, and Rokubei was one of the leading proponents of blending Western and Eastern ideals in clay art. The vase is 6.5cm (2-1/2 inches) diameter, 18.5cm (7-1/2 inches) tall and in perfect condition. It comes wrapped in the original artist stamped cloth complete with the original black wood stand...

A classic Nanban style Japanese lacquer tray decorated with mother of pearl inlay featuring four panels of birds among floral patterns separated by bands and frets dating from the 17th century later Momoyama to early Edo era.
