Antique Japanese Funa Tansu (ship safe box) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood in original dark finish, on a black wood stand. Six small drawers are sealed away within, with kan (ring) pulls. The front is decorated by black, incised iron hardware with a cherry blossom handles. Edo period (1603-1868)

Chinese Foo Lion or Foo dog carved top Soapstone Chop, Ca. early 1900's, not inscribed on the bottom yet, 3" high, 7/8" square on the bottom, the condition is old and shows some wear, no damages.
A beautiful bronze standard finial of the "Master of Animals" type. A tube in anthropomorphic form, worked on both sides identically, showing a human with a long nose and jutting ears, grasping the necks of two animals. Western Iran, Luristan culture, c. 9th-7th century B.C. Provenance: Private Collection, Switzerland. Condition: fine, with nice patina. Dimension: height: 15.2 cm.

Very fine Chinese antique belt hook carved in the shape of a knot with a butterfly on either end, made of beautiful mottled jade ranging from white to grey to bright blue/green, a silver fitting on the back was added later to convert this clothing hook to a pin or broach.

This is a very rare and excellently made Chinese Snuff Bottle made with a mosaic of multicolor inlaid jadaite with overlay Mother of Pearl depicting a monkey underneath a flowering tree, with matching jadeite domed stopper. The base incised with the Qianlong reign mark. Wonderful preserved condition.

This is a very fine, Qianlong Era (1730 - 1796) , flattened, of spade form Snuff Bottle with a round short neck, concave mouth, and flat concave oval footing. Made of a rare natural Cherry Amber, which is thought to be another form of Jet, with dark inclusions. Its sides are decorated with Foo Dog Masks with short, semi-circular handles, common on bottles made during the Early Qianlong period.
