A blooming lotus with a bird, long stemed bud blossoms and full opened its dark green leaves with a bright color froral plants painted in some bright color and ink on the cloth, with bold strokes. This lotus scroll painting was painted by a very skillful professional artist.

The blue-green color of this dish represents the best kind of Longquan Celadon colours.

This underglaze blue decorated porcelain dish is probably an imperial marked Ming Xuande Period ( 1426 - 1435 ) dragon dish.
It comes from an old Javanese collection. The dish allegedly was found in the sea near Tuban, east Java.
The dish has no crack and no chip, but
the whole surface of the dish is affected by the sea water...
Charming antique Japanese small 2-panel byobu (screen painting), painted with blossoming chrysanthemums in raised gofun, on right panel is a blue bird in flight, delicately painted with wonderful detail, mineral colors and gofun on paper with gold leaf ground, signed and seal by Yano Yoshitaka (1800-1858). Korea, early Joseon dynasty, 15th – 16th century.
A very well potted deep bowl sharply tapering to a high ring foot and slightly everted rim,
decorated in thick white slip covering the well and pooling towards the bottom of the surfaces, 5 spur marks in the well with a old used stains bears, and revealing the darker (celadon glaze) body beneath above the foot, foot rim and base unglazed.
