Amygdaloidal Basalt Snuff Botle of flattened rectangular shape, supported on an oval footrim, the gently slopping shoulders rising to a cylindrical neck; the mottled dark stone ground suffused by gray-blue epidote and calcite irregular but attractive intrusions. This is a fine Famille Rose Figural Molded Porcelain Snuff Bottle, of flattened ovoid form, with a waisted neck, a flat gilded lip, and an oval concave foot. The body of the bottle crisply molded with bright colors a scene of the Nine Buddhist Lions at play amid clouds. The neck decorated with a leiwen border. This is an early 19th C., excellently carved, Pear shaped, with a flared neck, and a raised oval footing, decorated with a black overlay of a ferocious dragon on one side, and an elegant Phoenix on the other. It comes with a red stone stopper. The bottle, which is about 200 years old, is in outstanding preserved condition...

A beautiful ancient glass bangle in blueish green color. This probably from Vietnam or Cambodia. Size: Outside diameter 6.9cm. Condition: Almost perfect. A very small almost invisible chip on the outside edge.

Two rare well carved Pyu stone elephants. These are a type of micro carvings that the Pyu period is noted for. There are holes drilled in both of the elephants for stringing. Size: See last photo. Condition: No repairs or chips. Some encrustation still adhering to them from long burial that can be removed by soaking.

Antique Korean painting on silk of peonies in tones of pink and bright red, blooming from an upwards reaching branch with leaves. Calligraphy with signature of Wou Dang Chang Ryu, a highly important and heroic figure in Korean art. With minor wear.

Chinese porcelain brush pot, of a cylindrical form with a raised lip and base. Imagery of a crane flying low over rolling waves and clouds carved in relief. The underglaze is a light yellow over the front and insides while the foot is unglazed and recessed with a chop.

A Minton wild strawberries A2625 hand painted berry or fruit bowl dated 1866. This Victorian beauty measures 9-3/8" across and it features finely handpainted leaves, flowers and wild strawberries all in high relief. This bowl is similar to other antique Minton patterns however we haven't definitively identified it. It has the impressed MINTON mark (used from 1862-71, later MINTONS) and a date cypher resembling that used for 1866...

The dish has an unusual square form with indented corners and a raised almost vertical rim which suggests that it was probably intended to be used for the serving of sashimi, sliced raw fish. This type of dish is described in Japanese as a shihou-sumioshi sara. By the late Mid Edo period sashimi had been growing in popularity being prepared by professional chefs, and was served both in aristocratic and in wealthy households and Ryokan...

This intricate floral embroidery panel may have been part of a larger piece which probably predates the carved frame that now houses the panel. The background silk is a rich dark brown and the ornate floral display can be positioned either horizontally or vertically. During the framing process, sometime between 1900-1920, The fragment was glued to a cardboard backing...where it remains today... 10.5 inches x 23 inches includes frame
