This porcelain bowl was produced in the United States by the Pickard Studio between 1903 and 1905. It is signed Shoner for the artist Otto Shoner. The bowl measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter, handles not included. There are “wish-bone” handles on each side of this scalloped and blown out bowl. A beautiful small and petite three tiered sweet meat and condiment box set, done in the famille rose palette. This lovely set dates to the late 19th to very early 20th century pre-1910. Except for some wear to the gold gilt band around the top edge of the lid, the box and enamels are in excellent condition. It measures a little over 4 inches high x 3.25" diameter.

A fine Arita blue & white porcelain flower vase to be mounted on a wall, kakehana. 18th century.
The flower vase is heavily moulded with a leaping Chinese Lion or karashishi in a landscape of rocks and Tree Peonies, a classic subject in Japanese art known as “Botan-ni-Shishi”, an auspicious subject.
This old kakehana was manufactured in Arita in the mid Edo period, probably for the home market.

This porcelain vase was produced in France by Sevres around 1900. It is 6 3/4 inches tall. The porcelain is fired with a deep red flambé type coloring that has mottled black shading. The vase has a high gloss finish. There is an ormolu bronze foot with filigree decoration on the bottom. This vase is a handsome, decorative piece with distinctive style.
