This solid Japanese Meiji bronze elephant is very heavy with skin and muscles modelled to a high standard. The elephant looks very animated and was obviously created by an artist of great talent. It is marked on the base with what looks to be a slightly rubbed Seiya signature. There is no damage to this piece.

This high relief silver repousse prayer cylinder is mounted on a wooden handle with silver mounts at the top and bottom. The repousse displays three seated Buddha images among dragons and other Buddhist elements. It is topped with a silver umbrella and ball-shaped finial. Attached to the side by a short chain is a lead weight that promotes the spinning around the steel shaft mounted in the wooden handle...

Measuring 2.75 inches in diameter by 3 inches high, this darling, circa 1890's, English, porcelain, double quill holder features a startled mother dove attempting to fend off a serpent about to devour the three eggs in her nest!

Likely Staffordshire, the quill holder features lovely polychrome coloration. Condition is wonderful with no chips, breaks, repairs, or repaints. Age crackling to glaze is evident along with a tiny stain on the dove's breast.

Measuring 4 inches long by 4.50 inches high by 3 inches deep, this fabulous, circa 1830's, English, porcelain, quill holder features a young, aristocratic lady surrounded by mounds of flowers and playing a lute.

Possibly Staffordshire, the quill holder features polychrome coloration with gold embellishment. Condition is wonderful with no chips, breaks, repairs, or repaints. Some discoloration seen under the base in the area where the quill hole is located...

An outstanding, mid 19th century, European-made, porcelain inkwell featuring two gentleman hunters physically fighting over the ownership of a just-snared hare, their hunting dogs loyally assisting in the jostling match for ownership beside them!

This figure of a guardian foo dog is of a natural rich brown unglazed ceramic with white glazed eyes, eyebrows, teeth, claws, and a line of spots on the spine. It is very well-modeled by hand with a highly expressive face and jaws. The chocolate-colored body is also offset by a black glazed mane and tail. A Substantial Three Piece Coin Silver Tea Set retailed by Ball, Tompkins & Black (Successors to Marquand & Co.) with the makers mark "JB". JB is presumably James Bogert, who made many pieces for Ball, Tompkins and Black, as well as its predecessor Marquand. The Tea Set dates from 1839-1851, the date of the partnership. The name "I. Moss"? is engraved on each piece, but rubbed. The teapot is 11" high, the covered sugar, 9" and the creamer 8". Total weight is 78.1 standard, 71.4 Troy ounces...

Rare detailed and finely painted Dynasty Chinese rose medallion porcelain plate: with the central design of birds perching on blossoming branches amid rocks while others flying around: together with chickens playing on the ground: surrounded by flowers and vines in cartouches, Mid-Qing dynasty. Size: Diameter of this plate is 8 1/2 inches. Condition Report: Very good condition.

A Substantial George III Silver Coffee Pot, by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, London 1774. Dimension; 11.5" high x 9" spout to handle; weight, 33 Standard, 30.1 Troy ounces. Initials LHP and "Llewellyn S. Parsons" on base (see picture), prior owners. Excellent condition.

This serpentine stone displays a yellowish buff color against a mottled blackish tone to produce a mountainous landscape effect. It is tubular in form and set upon 3 carved feet. It has a soft polish on the both the exterior and interior. The base is unpolished and exhibits its original carved surface. There are several small chips and evidence of wear around the rim, otherwise it is in good condition. It was likely used to hold short incense sticks...

A Silver Pitcher, Probably Used for Milk or Cream, by Eoff and Shepherd and Retailed by Ball, Black and Co., New York. It ios marked 950, higher than the sterling 925 standard, and used briefly during the transition from coin to sterling. An Elegant Script Monogram is on the Front Cartouche. Dimensions; 9" high x 4" wide; weight; 10.1 Troy ounces. Circa 1855-1860. Excellent condition.

Japanese Arita Blue and White Dish. Decorated with unfolding scrolls amongst floral sprays. L17thC/18thC Diameter 18.0 cm. Condition: excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration. Minor firing flaws.

Pair of Small Blue and White Ko Sometsuke Dishes. Decorated in the centre with two birds and branches, the rim with butterflies. Chinese Tianqi C1621/27. Diameter 14.6 cm. Condition: very good, some fritting to rims, chip 1.5 cm to inside footrim of second dish. No other chips, cracks or restoration.
