A very fine twig basket, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. It was found in Pennsylvania, and is painted black, with the border and edge decoration painted in green, yellow, and orange over the black. The interior central portion of the basket is painted in green.

The basket is 8 5/8" in diameter and 4" tall. Condition is terrific, with no breaks...

A lovely larger stamp seal of the non-figural Gable type in grey black stone, Ubaid Period of Eastern Anatolia / North-Western Mesopotamia, 4th. millenium BC.

The seal was reportedly found at 'Amúg Ebene' in ancient North-Western Mesopotamia, present day Turkey, close to the ancient city of Antioch...

This is a greenish glazed bowl dated to the Northern Song Dynasty. It stands on a short foot rim with a recess base. On the cavetto, it is divided into five sections of incised abstract cloud like drawings.

The bowl is in very good conditions with the glaze intact. There is a manufacturing fault that looks like chip. This is shown in picture 1 at 12 o'clock and picture 4. It has an overglaze on it...

This is an ANTIQUE LIMOGES EWER Hand Painted and Signed by the Artist: GERTRUDE LEWIS. This Decorative PORCELAIN is 15" tall and 6" in Diameter at the center. From the late Victorian Era with Beautifully Painted Florals, the handle designed with Stylised Vines. Gilded at the Top and at the Base. A finely carved Chinese boxwood statue of the Tang poet Li Bai. Dressed in official attire with a scroll in his right hand, Li Bai appears to be deep in thought as he strokes his beard. Attached to a wooden base, it measures 9.5 inches high as pictured. Base measures 3.5” square. Condition is excellent. Dates circa 1900.

Antique Japanese sword tansu, made with Kiri (paulownia) hardwood, all original finish. The piece holds two large drawers and two small corner drawers, accented with heavy iron handles, lock plates, and corner hardware. The sides of the piece feature long iron fittings for carrying.

Meiji Period (1868-1912)

Dimensions: 45.5" L x 15.5" D x 16" H

1920s (late Meiji - early Taisho) ceramic chaire (tea caddy for storing powdered green tea used in tea ceremony). Comes with very well made shifuku (silk brocade storage bag). Kyoto ware with dark brown to black glaze and beautiful tan colored streak going from the mouth to the middle of the body, old turned resin lid lined with gold leaf paper on the inside...

A fine baluster wine glass with a solid base funnel bowl atop a stem with a teared acorn knop and a basal knop. Acorn knops are one of the least common formations in baluster glasses. The glass has a conical folded foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is a small enclosed pot stone at the rim, of no particular importance. This is shown, greatly enlarged, in the second photo...

French Napoleon Portrait Porcelain Cup and saucer, Ca. 1920, 2 3/8" high with handle, 2 7/8" wide with handle-cup, 4 1/4" diameter-saucer, with gold high handle, bottom is signed with Crown with "N" in red.

Very rare Crowned AMARAPURA Buddha in Royal Attire subduing Mara, gilded wood with lacquer on red patina, finely coloured glass-mirror inlays which point to the early Konbaung Period (1752-1885). The back of the Throne has a niche (opening) used for relics. Condition: good, some fissures due to age which adds character to this absolutely stunning and important collector's item, size H.55cm x W. 26cm x D. 22cm

Pair of 1900's Chinese Robin's Egg Glazed Gourd Vase Triple Spout

They are 4.4 inches (11.2 cm) tall by 2.75 inches (7 cm) wide. Total weight is 0.8 lb.

One vase has been repaired at the lip. They have dark spots, skip glazes, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Each saki cup of this set of 6 has hand painted flower or foliage in the inside. The set is Japanese lacquerware from Meiji period.

This early ice cream scoop has been professionally cleaned and polished. The rare conical shaped scoop is nickel plated. The wooden grip is attached to a polished brass handle and release mechanism. The mechanism works very well. This # 33 scoop was made by the Gilchrists' Co., in New Jersey. It dates circa 1914. The scoop diameter is 3 inches and the length is 10 1/2 inche. Very fine condition with one extremely tiny ding on the scoop.

A Chinese Celadon Glazed Covered Box. Circa, 10th Century, Yue Ware, Northern Song Dynasty. Found in the Philippines. Stoneware covered box with a carved and combed floral decoration. It is covered overall in a grey-green celadon glaze, except for the foot-ring and base. Measurements: diameter (4"inches) across. Condition: in perfect condition. No cracks, no chips, and no repairs...

Unusual Japanese small gyosho bako (merchant's box) made with Kiri (Paulownia) wood in all original finish. The box holds four drawers, with decorative black iron plating and handles. The top 3 drawer interiors have been lacquered in black while the bottom drawer has also been lacquered in red. With original keys included.

Antique Japanese ko-dansu/tansu made from kiri (paulownia) wood with brick red lacquer finish. Has heavy iron hardware such as handles in a style called "hirute". Original finish, excellent condition. Edo age (1615-1867) Size: 26.5" height, 31" width, 15.5" depth

Continental Ornate Brass Candlestick in the Classical Taste , well cast fine details and was altered to also take lamp wiring. Size H 103/4" base 5" square.
