This outstanding Olmec jade standing figure is 5 3/4" long. The jade is high quality and opaque. There is no restoration or repair. Very rare and beautiful. It has excellent provenance and comes with a COA from Bill Breckinridge. There are many modern fakes on the market of Olmec standing figures. Terrific hand axe from Northern Africa, Sahara Desert, Neolithic period, ca. 10,000 to 6000 BC.

A finely knapped bifacial axe with finely curving shape to a thick center and done in a lovely mottled brown silex or chert.

During this time period, weather conditions called the Neolithic Subpluvial meant that the Sahara was a green, fertile landscape, ideal for hunter and gathering cultures.

Size: 12,5 cm.

Condition: Near mint, fantastic patina!.

This ushabti figurine is depicted as a worker holding two hoes for work in the fields of Osiris in the afterlife.

He is wearing a tripartite wig which falls down between the shoulders...

A small coll. of four Danish Neolithic Daggertime blades, dating to around 2200-2000 BC.

The lot consist of a small spear, 8,5 cm. Two fragments of daggers, 9 & 6,5 cm and a toothedged sickle / saw, measuring 12 cm.

An interesting collection of nice neolithic blades and fragments.

Condition: The spear is intact, the other pieces are large fragments. Nice patinas and old collection tags on all pieces.

It would be hard to overstate the beauty of this ritual knife, made from an exquisite mottled green nephrite, with swirls of paler green and brown stone. Measuring some 11" in length (29cm) by 3" in height (7.5cm) and 1/8" (.3mm) in depth. The three holes are drilled conically from one side only.
