An antique Japanese Kuruma Tansu known as a storage chest on wheels made of Keyaki (Zelkova), Kiri (Chestnut) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. Hidden behind the two sliding doors are two small drawers and a split level shelf. Situated below the doors are two side by side drawers for added storage. The sides of the chest feature cross rib supports and through mortise and tenon joinery for additional strength and support.

It is the Katazome cotton cloth which this was made for Edo period and was dyed on the basis of a natural indigo plant. As for this, cotton is spun by hand and is slightly thick. Antique Japanese iron tsuba, or hand guard for a sword. It has an oval shape with raised motif of gold inlay bamboo shoots and leaves crossing in from the outer edges. Its backside has a single bunch of gold inlay leaves peeking in from the bottom. Size: 2.75" height, 2.5" width

A Yuan/Ming Longquan Celadon Ewer. Diameter approximately 8.5 cm and height approximately 7.5 cm. There is a soft tiny chip at the tipspout. Good condition.

19th century staghorn ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) carved as a smooth clam shell. Good design, shunga connotation as almost inevitable with clam in Japanese art, nice patina on the surface, natural imperfections in staghorn, overall in very good condition. Length 13/16 inches.

The pipe made of bamboo, the ends made of ivory. Engraved paktong saddle and a plain stoneware bowl with maker's mark. China, late 19th century. L. 49 cm (20 inch). Condition: age cracks in the ivory, wonderful patina.

A fine antique baluster drinking glass of the type often referred to known as being "Kit-cat" glass. The form is a drawn trumpet bowl with a medial inverted baluster knop in the plain stem. The foot is folded with a rough, snapped pontil.

The height of the glass is 6 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 2 5/8" and a foot diameter of 2 7/8". The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, haze, or restoration.
