A peepal tree leaf finely painted in ink, colour and gold, depicting two Buddhist disciples in a landscape setting. Pasted on grey cardboard, with inscription in gold and red seal on the left side. Mounted in a lotus leaf shaped frame and base, carved from hardwood. Condition: lower left corner with a stain, some traces of usage. A large and wonderful glazed ceramic roof ornament from Vietnam, adorned a temple or Imperial residence, bright color with frieze of koi fish and seaweed, lovely blue waves. Measures 19 3/4" high 12" wide and 5" deep. Substantial and heavy, with pleasing color glazes, the scene depicts koi fish next to an underwater plant and brown water creatures (frogs?) above...

Japanese Early Meiji Period Kneeling Gosho Ningyo (Palace Doll) depicted with a gift box offering, wearing a fitted silk crepe haragake bib with a cherry blossoms design, tied at the neck and waist. He has a delightfully rendered face with a bright expression, slightly open mouth, and painted features. His forehead has a painted auspicious mizuhiki (presentation ribbon). He is covered overall in a fine white gofun (oyster shell lacquer). 4h x 4w inches, 10h x 10w cm.

A large, enamelled, octagonal bowl decorated with 8 Luohan in an ansolutely superb quality. Iron red Jiaqing Mark ( 1796 - 1820 ) and of the Period. Diameter : 17,5 cm. H : 8,9 cm. Condition : Perfect.

An antique 18th century Chinese Bronze Buddha seated in the varda or granting of Boons mudra. 

This lovely Buddha is seated in the lotus or Padmasana position, with each foot placed on the opposite thigh. His robes cascade fluidly from his left shoulder.  His robe is draped to leave the right shoulder bare, and a portion of the garment that covers the left wrist falls behind the figure...

A Victorian Burr Walnut Slant Front Stationary Box or Cabinet; with Stepped Stationary Slots, Pen Drawer, Ceramic Note Board and Calendar Windows. This is an authentic, ancient Chinese Nephrite Jade ritual object known as a Cong, dating to the Late Neolithic Period, 2100-1600BCE. The piece is quite substantial, measuring 4" in height by 3-1/8" in width. Charming Japanese antique small cloisonne vase decorated with a scene of two koi swimming in a stream under blossoming wisteria, the flowers are done in purple, pink, yellow and white, the entire scene set on a turquoise blue ground, bottom contains an image of a bell (or suzu) with the name Gokou stamped onto the bottom, Meiji Period. Size: 7 1/2" high

Beautiful little snuff bottle made from translucent cream-colored aragonite, a 3.5-4 on the Mohs (hardness) scale, with carvings of a bat (symbol for good luck) with a strand of Chinese coins (means "fortune before your eyes" when paired with a bat). Republic period c1920 Size: 2.75" long, 1" wide

Very nice Gorham sterling silver pin cushion/sewing box. The arched rim of the pierced silver holder has a slightly Gothic appearance. The silk velvet top lifts off to reveal an opening for storing thread, buttons, etc. The interior is lined with the original lime green silk. The bottom is stamped with Gorham's older hallmark.

Origin: America, circa 1900. Condition: silver is excellent, the velvet covering shows the normal considerable wear. Size: 4-3/8" x 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" tall.
