A pair of Japanese lacquered iron abumi (stirrups) decorated in gold lacquer on a roiro ground with Ni-o, also known as Kongo Rikishi with delicate scrolling background, the interior in red lacquer. Edo period (probably 17th century). 11 1/8" high, 4 3/4" wide, 12" long.
Large Japanese antique processional temple cart, base made of keyaki (elm) wood with copper hardware, drum is also made of keyaki wood with a large brass rooster on top, wonderful condition (wheels roll!), lovely carving and lacquer detail, unusual and striking! Meiji/ Taisho Period (early 20th century).

This is a fine 18th century 5.75 inch Nabeshima footed dish with blue underglaze, decorated with two enameled peaches and leaves.
There are two old gold lacquer repairs to the rim.

A good bronze bombe form censer with rare figural decoration. The base carries the six character mark of the Ming Xuande Emperor but this item was made much later during either the late 18th or early 19th Centuries (c1790 - 1850).

The images do not show that, but the full beauty of the small ornaments on this very small tray ( 11 cm. X 12,5 cm. ) you only can regard with a magnifying glass.
But not just the execution of the ornaments is outstanding, please regard alone the face of this young woman in the center of the piece...

A Matched Set of Four George II Silver Open Salts. The Set was assayed in London in 1747, makers mark illegible. The dimensions are 3" across and 1 1/2" high. They stand on three cabriole legs and weigh a total of 9 Troy ounces. There is a small crest in the front of each. Minor imperfections, but in very good condition overall.
