Korean Wood Oil Lamp and White Porcelain Oil Pot and cover, Joseon Dynasty 19th Century, 19" high, 8" widest point on the bottom, Octagonal shape wooden bottom with column wrapped with ornamental Brass cover with ring in the middle section below the wooden cup, White Porcelain oil pot fitted inside the wooden cup with the cut out area for the porcelain handle. The condition is all original including porcelain oil pot with top.

These fine porcelain ewers are made in a neoclassical style with a slightly flaring base supporting a bulbous body whose neck narrows before ending in an elongated spout. Tall dramatic handles are attached to the vase. Rich cobalt blue panels alternate with white ground spaces each having simple floral embellishments surrounded by gilded swirls and scrolls. Heavy gilding is used throughout on these elegant ewers made c. 1895...

Richly enameled with vibrant colors on a dark blue ground, this Chinese footed porcelain bowl has a turquoise interior. A seal mark is on the base bottom along with the word "CHINA". In excellent condition, no chips, no repairs, it measures 5" square x 2.75" high.

Antique bronze Japanese hibachi displays eight beautiful panels of scholars in tranquil traditional garden scenes. Two fu dog faces are displayed to grab as handles Raised cartouche signing characteristically on bottom of hibachi reads "Shoryu" This piece is from the Meiji period. (1868) Height: 7 in. A George III Silver Toddy or Punch Ladle, with a Half Spiral Twist Baleen (whalebone)Handle with a Silver Tip at the End. Hallmarked in London, 1811, with makers mark "EM" for Elizabeth Morley, Widow of Thomas Morely, Silversmith. Dimension; 14.75" length. Some wear on edge of bowl, but in very good shape.

This silver plate Meriden Britania Co. Number 202 napkin ring is a long tailed bird resting upon the stem of a large leaf,its tips creating the feet. The banded napkin ring holder has in its center a leaf design with the space for engraving. This space is engraved "Ella" very lightly and very small. The Japanning shows some wear and there is a bump to the side of the ring. It is hallmarked "Meriden" in a circle. Lots of detailing on this item.

Chinese Nyonya Ware plate with a foliated base painted with pomegranates, peaches and bats symbolizing fruitfulness, prosperity and happiness. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nonya ware. A very large ceramic box in the shape of a peach that was used to decorate the ancestral altar. Such boxes were used to hold trinkets, precious offerings, and maybe incense when worshiping ones' ancestors. The inside of the box is divided and sealed with a green glaze. The peach measures about 5" long x 5" wide x 3 1/4" high, and dates to the end of the 19th Century. The Box has one chip at the side of one leaf. Free shipping within the USA.

This Japanese Meiji period 6 sided porcelain chocolate pot was made for export to the Western markets. The chocolate pot has a lovely traditional Japanese scene which was hand painted, with bits of moriage detail. Excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, pot is 9.5 inches tall. There are 3 matching cups and saucers will be listed separately.

Very unusual 19th century square manju netsuke made out of a slab of aventurine glass with silver fitting on the back in a shape of a samurai family crest with paulownia flowers and leaves, swinging silver loop for hanging. Superbly beautiful and rare material, absolutely stunningly sparkling in direct sunlight, does not photograph well. Three tiny chips along the edges on the front and a couple on the back, do not take away from the piece. Beautiful patina, very pleasant to hold...

This Chinese golden colored Sha-green is large by shagreen standards...it spans almost 7 inches at the longest point front to back, and stands just over 3 inches high. The top clearly has some scuffs and loss to the hide, which for me enhance the beauty of the box. The box is hinged at the back and the inside is lined with leather.
