A beautifully gold accented imari small dish from old Japan, detailed and profusely decorated with tendrils and flora with a well painted mythical Kylin; the contrast is simply stunning and well defined, condition is excellent and the enamels well preserved, minor glaze imperfection on the backside, but hardly worth mentioning save for accuracy sake, we date this beauty to the Meiji period pre-1900. Finely carved ivory Chinese napkin ring with 3 landscape carvings and an animal in each scene. Each is deeply carved, giving depth to the foliage. The 4th cartouche is left blank for monogramming. In excellent condition, it measures 1 1/8" high by 2" diameter. Circa 1900.

Chinese Han dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) pottery jar with splayed neck and everted rim covered overall with an iridescent green lead glaze. Characteristic kiln support remnants are on the base and mouth. 5 1/2" high x about 5” diameter. Very good overall condition. This jar is from an Arizona collection. It was purchased in 1996 from Lam’s Gallery in Hong Kong.

Song Dynasty Green Glaze jarlet with two ears...in very good condition without cracks or chips, some wear in terms of scratches...small points of imperfection in glaze at time of firing. Floral pattern around top portion of jarlet and scrolling pattern around lower portion at the base. Diameter: 2 and half inches, height 2 inches.

You can almost envision the ceremony with the open sliding doors overlooking the garden as you are being served. This dish measures 10.25” square x 1.75” deep.

This Antique woven basket was typical of the baskets used in the kitchens of Hunan Province China. This particular style would have been used for rice storage...The red and black lacquer design is painted on all 4 sides. the interior is painted black lacquer. Condition is good considering age and usage of basket as a utilitarian item ..a few nicks and chips in the paint. 12 inches in diameter across the top. 9 inches high plus another 2 inches for the handles...

Late 19th century brass whale oil lamp featuring a very unusual footed base with a delicately decorated edge. Has a chain for which to add a wick trimmer, snuffer, or other accoutrement. A wonderful piece for the collector, it is very good condition. Measures 19" high and 6.5 " square at the base.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Trenton, New Jersey, USA, by Lenox around 1906. It was produced especially for The Cowell & Hubbard Company of Cleveland, Ohio. The saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The porcelain has the distinctive ivory hue. Vignettes with a beautiful lady and a Colonial Williamsburg mansion in the other are on either side of the cup...
