This exquisite antique bronze relief plaque is a remarkable art from the late 19th century. It was created by Étienne Alexandre Stella, a French sculptor well-known for his exceptional bronze figure sculptures and relief plaques. The plaque depicts actors from the "La commedia dell'arte" performing on the streets of Paris, and the lower left corner bears Stella's signature "STELLA."

This is a fine Japanese Satsuma sake pot or small teapot. It is signed by Kinkozan. It measures 4 1/2 inches across at the spout. The handle is slightly tattered but the pot is in excellent condition.

19th century Asakusa school staghorn netsuke in manju (rice cake) shape decorated on the front with a low relief carving of a bird (possibly a woodpecker) on a tree branch. Beautifully carved, eye inlaid with black horn. Two parts fit snugly, beautiful warm patina, darker porous areas as is usual with staghorn.
