The vase is in yellow bronze. It appears to have been taken down with a hammer because it has thin walls, however it may have been cast. It is a very simple design object but of excellent quality, the proportions are perfect, the finishes are very careful. Artisans capable of producing a bronze of this fine quality would have been entirely capable of producing such a fine casting...

Victorian silver baby cup. Made by S. Kirk & Son in Baltimore. Straight sides with allover floral repousse on stippled ground. Cast and capped leaf scroll handle and pointille foot border. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1846-61) and alloy “11 OZ.” (that is 11/12 or 916 silver). Very good condition.

Daunian krater with globular shaped body and funnel-shaped lip. The vertical loop handles on the shoulder area alternate with two red colored plates.
Brown-red and bluish geometric decoration around the body, wavy lines with ivy leaves at the handle area, hanging semicircles inside the funnel opening.
The geometric decoration is cold-applied and slightly rubbed in places.

Apulian black-glazed guttus of globular body with gently sloped shoulder, upright narrow neck and flared spout. The flared rim decorated with impressed rings.
The loop handle is attached on the shoulder, which is embellished with horizontal grooves. Red wash around and underneath the foot.
