A large ancient Greek pair statue. Appears to represent the nude Adonis, his right leg slightly bent on the knee, standing on a raised pedestal, gazing down on an enamoring Aphrodite, with hair pulled back into a bun, her right arm bent at the elbow, and her left hand, grasping her long, flowing drapery. Han Jade pendant with two connecting holes on each end. The front has the carving of two stylized Phoenix Birds and the back with carvings of cloud motifs.The phoenix was commonly referred to as the "King of Birds." A supernatural bird, it embodied the five virtues of benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and sincerity., "When the dragon soars and the phoenix dances, the people will enjoy happiness for years, bringing peace and tranquility to all under heaven."Size: L.5cm. Old nephrite chord fastener, this shape and style are usually associated with horse tack and bridles. This archaic style has been found in the Tang and Liao periods. L: 2.7cm/1.1in, W: 2.1cm/o.8in and 1cm/0.4in thick. 12 grams.

This is a set of three large bronze belt-hooks from the Khmer culture in ancient Southeast Asia (circa 12th century AD). Each one of the fabulous pieces measures roughly 16 cm in length. As can be seen clearly in the photos, they have some soil encrustation, patina, and slight damage as might be expected from pieces of this age. The stand (roughly 32 cm in height) is included in the purchase. These make a wonderful display/conversation piece.

A Large and Fine Korean Grey Stoneware Storage Jar with Stand: Korea, Three Kingdoms Period, 4th -6th Century. This is an unusual large jar supported by the authentic Pottery stand, its mouth is everted and flattened, the stand is with open work, the clay is the dark grey pottery with natural ash glaze on the lower body (see photos)...

Tang/Five Dynasties, stoneware jar with light olive green glaze and reddish clay body. The foot is rimless and concave. There is a “Jun” type glaze run on the body noted in enlargements- probably unintentional but interesting nonetheless. I have done simple repair on the mouth by filling a shallow chip and applying a layer of gold leaf. H: 12cm/4.8in and D: 9cm/3.5in.

An impressive bronze rain drum, weighing 16 kilograms, Dong Son culture, 1st. millenium AD.

A fine Heger 1 type bronze drum with a 12 ray star in the center and concentric panels of circles, points, triangles, comb and saw teeth decoration on the tympanum. The drum is very early and perhaps even ancient and is without the later frogs etc. seen on the drums of the Karen tribe. 2 handles in each side.

A set of 4 very old and nicely patinated European Powderhorns, made of flat-pressed cowhorns, leather and wood, all can be dated around 1700-1762.

One horn is particularly interesting, with the upperpart carved as an animals mouth, with an engraving of a deer and inscribed and dated 1706!
Another horn is dated and initialized to 1762, but is probably an earlier horn with a 1762 dating.

Earrings of a female figure with spiral decoration on the side of her head. Although deformed, the woman has full-body,well crafted down to chest and toes. The amphora can slide up and down. In good condition, but the body is slightly bent.
