Three cartouches on back. Two gold and red cartouches on front. It measures 27.5" tall, 9.5" wide, 1.2" deep. Overall excellent condition.
Antique Chinese silk kesi panel with a thin black border. It has a gold-tan main background color, with billowing clouds and rock formations in soft shades of mauve, muted blues, pinks, and greens. From the bottom edge, a sailboat with a striped sail approaches the shore while a man in red robes watches from his window. Two smaller boats can be seen off in the distance towards the top section of the panel. 19th century

This jade tube is a celadon green with lighter inclusions that create mountain landscape-like patterns throughout. It has a soft even polish overall, including the interior and it is slightly translucent when held to the light. There are a few small nicks and minor abrasions to the rims, but it is in generally good condition. The interior is cut slightly off-center.

A beautifully preserved Han dynasty (221 B.C. to 206 A.D.) wine cup with mackerel silver highlights. This is caused by damp conditions within the tomb in combination with exposure to air, which in effect causes the silver to separate from the lead and surface toward the top. This wine cup has the original kiln supports still present. Authenticity guaranteed, it measures 13 cm long x 11 cm wide x 5 cm high (5" x 4.25" x 2"). No chips, no hairlines, etc.
Edwardian stoneware match strike with sterling silver collar. Made by Royal Doulton in Lambeth in 1909. Globular with cylindrical interior and silver collar. Applied ornaments include windmill, pipe-smoking peasant, and running dogs. Shaded brown and cream glaze. A homely piece in the Dutch style. Fully marked on underside and collar. Excellent condition.

Japanese hibachi, or brazier, made of an attractive wood exterior and inlaid with flowers and overlaid with gold macho-e lacquer. Remnants of ash on the interior add to its charm. Meiji Period (1868 - 1912). Original finish and condition.

A very late Qing Dynasty bronze bowl with deeply carved images of warriors, waves, a fish, a snail, and a shell. An intricate key fret border finishes off this Ming Dynasty style bowl. It is heavy and dates early 20th century, circa 1910. Measures 10 inches in diameter by 4.5 inches high.
A Chinese, Henan, Cizhou-type black glazed bowl; C13-14th.
The deep, rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, the interior covered in a black glaze decorated with two rows of closely spaced vertical russet stripes, while the slightly mottled black glaze on the exterior falls in an irregular line above the foot to expose the fine buff ware.

An antique Japanese Ranma (transom) made of Akita Sugi (Cryptomeria from Akita prefecture) and Hinoki (Cypress). Natural Urushi black lacquer frame. Hand carved scene featuring a good luck turtle with longevity tail admiring an old Plum Blossom tree with scatterings of Bamboo underneath.

This traditional antique Chinese brushpot is made from bamboo, and is deeply carved with upper and lower scenes. The brush pot measures 11 inches tall. Surface cracks do not go through to the inside of the pot.
