A lovely blue and white jarlet with chrysanthemum design and lid. Vietnam's 15th/16th century, condition is very good, only tiny flake glaze to the body, but overall near perfect. Height maximum: 8cm.
A well potted round covered box with underglaze blue decoration and extensive gilt outlining of the pattern of a bird in a bush. The Meissen crossed swords mark on the bottom is typical of the late 19th century. There is also in underglaze blue the number 46, which is probably the identification of the painter of the scene. Height 2 ½ inches, diameter 3 ½ inches (6 by 9 centimeters).

This is Patchwork silk yosegire child kimono textile in Edo period(1800-1867).This yosegire kimono is a patchwork of natural safflower dyed shibori, shikon dyed katazome, and indigo dyed kaiki-silk.All are originals from the Edo period. A nicely detailed pierced Rococo Revival boat with exceptionally detailed swags, flowers, and cross hatching for a formal setting. The shape mimics a boat and may have once had a liner. Condition is very good with no material defects. Underside is marked Depose 800, which in normal circumstances might be French, but we believe that the crown and possibly crescent to its left indicates a German article, dating c. 1890-1910...
Actually, this type ware is often mistakenly referred to as Leeds and featheredge. In reality, many factories other than Leeds made items of this nature, and the type edge here is more properly called a molded edge; elaborate raised tree and floral decoration; 10" diameter. Excellent condition.
