Staffordshire Red Riding Hood & The Wolf figure decorated in red, green, blue, black, pink, yellow and brown enamels.

Origin: Staffordshire, England, ca. 1850. Condition: some scratching to the overglaze red enamel (mostly at her elbow and along the edges of her bonnet), otherwise excellent. Size: 4" tall.

Chinese Blue and White Tea Jar, Tea Caddy, Ca. 1920, 4 1/2" high, 3 3/4" wide-widest part, 1 3/8" diameter-top rim, 2 1/4" diameter-bottom Rim, with underglaze blue design of a man holding flower under the Willow Tree. stains around the unglazed rim, old hairline about 1/8" long on the unglazed bottom rim.

Gorgeous sterling silver berry spoon in Durgin's 1891 "Watteau" pattern. The rococo design of the handle is wonderful on its own, but when combined with the decoration of the bowl, it's stunning! The back is hallmarked by Durgin.

Origin: America, ca. 1895. Condition: excellent, all original, period monograms on both the front and back. Size: 7-1/2" long.

Rare Chinese Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Ladle / Bowl

This rare pottery vessel was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It is a large handled-bowl, or ladle. It is made from a fairly high-fired grey pottery with the inner surface cold-painted in red pigment. There is a recessed circular area in its centre.

Length 19.5 cm. It is in very good condition with no sign of restoration or repair...

This is cotton Furosiki used in Kyoto in the Edo era. It is thick, and this is good cotton of a good texture . This is dyed with an artistic portrait of a lion and Katazome of the peony pattern and a brown plain fabric. There is small holes and damage ,thin stains. However, the condition is good generally. Size: Length:99cm (38.9inch) / Width:106cm (41.7inch)

Old nephrite chord fastener, this shape and style are usually associated with horse tack and bridles. This archaic style has been found in the Tang and Liao periods. L: 2.7cm/1.1in, W: 2.1cm/o.8in and 1cm/0.4in thick. 12 grams.

Large and well decorated porcelain pitcher with a group of flowers on one side and on the opposite side inside a gilt cartouche “L. Cummings.” in Gothic letters. The country of origin may be either France, in which case it was probably brought here blank and then decorated here or possibly it was made by an American manufacturer. The hard paste porcelain is unlikely to have been made in England, though they did on occasion import French blanks. Anyway, nice decoration from about 1870...

Two small dress fabric fragments with stripes. The first one made of silk satin woven with tiny flowers. The other one with five differently colored stripes brocaded with silver wrapped threads. From Georges Redard's study collection (please visit http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/redard-georges), mainly comprising Persian textiles. Condition: partial wear and one stain. Please look at photos carefully, being part of condition report. Dimension: c. 25 cm x 25.5 cm, 21.5 cm x 18.5 cm.

An amber colored vase with an etched and gilt “Oroplastic” frieze of Amazon warriors, the base facet cut. The Oroplastic decoration method was introduced by the Moser glass company around 1915. It became a great success, totally in line with the emerging Art Deco style. Signed Made in Czechoslovakia Moser Karlsbad. Height "3 ¾ / 9.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Taoist statue of a Judge in Hell, sitting, in formal attire, his hands joined together. Votive box at the back, now open. Wood, with traces of lacquering and polychrome painting. China Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Height: 18 cm. Abrasion due to age, otherwise very good condition.

Set of three white vintage, Burmese jadeite “bi” pendants with bails D: 30mm, 6 grams each and a pair of thick greenish jadeite “bi” pendants with beveled edges inside and out, D:27mm and thickness 6mm 9 grams each. All good pieces.

Quirky Cizhou type, heavy, completely black glazed, waisted beaker from circa Ming Dynasty. Possibly this was used in a Chinese Apothecary, but this is just a best guess to its function. The hole on the bottom was made prior to firing and is part of the original design. Lovely thick glaze and aside from a couple of chips on the outside of the foot, in very good condition. H: 13cm/5.1in- width at base : 8.7cm/3.8in and width at mouthrim : 11cm/4.3in.

A Japanese Imari dish decorated with the Three Friends of Winter, Shochikubai, Pine, Bamboo and Plum, surrounded by overlapping brocades. The back with an apocryphal Ming Chenghua reign mark. Arita, 18th ~ 19th century.

A set of six 5-3/4" sterling silver teaspoons made and hallmarked by James Ellis of Toronto (this mark active 1852-1881). Each has a DM monogram, and they weigh 122 grams. They are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S...

Four flat dishes with spur marks and so probably Japanese, Meiji c 1900, all with a matted powder blue glaze, also covering the back and the foot rim. Diameter "8/ 20 cm. Condition: minimal glaze frits to the rim of two plates, as seen on photos.

A Japanese Arita deep dish, early 19th century. The dish is decorated with Ho-o birds and branches of flowering paulownia. The back with clouds and bats and a single spur mark. The Dutch refer to this palette of red and gold on white porcelain as ‘Milk & Blood’.

There is the remains of a collectors mark on the back
