Really gorgeous antique English silver stirrup and horse shoe letter rack with pen holder and inkwell. Circa 1900, Mint condition. Quite large, measures 7.5 inches tall, 8’” wide and 9” deep. Beautiful walnut wood base on wooden ball feet.

Pair of ironstone plates with chinoiserie decoration of flowering plants with a flower border and thin blue printed scallop border. Back marked with an elaborate blue printed mark of a crown over what looks like a log with a garland of flowers and a ribbon with the words, "TONQUIN CHINA." The pattern number '500' is written in orange on both plates. The factory is unidentified...

An antique Japanese 2 section Nihon Matsu Tansu made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. Natural Urushi lacquer finish and hand made iron fittings. Accented with butterfly and plum blossom Atari handle backstops. Lock plates feature the Sho Chiku Bai (three felicitous friends of winter) motif and two side by side Chrysanthemum flowers ...

Height approximately 11.1 cm. There glaze disappears with age. In good condition.

Early 19th century Edo period Japanese sword bronze kashira (metal pommel at the end of the hilt of a sword) with raised decoration of various sea shells, all on finely textured ground called nanako, which means “fish-eggs” as it resembles fine rows of caviar. Wonderful design in Japanese taste, beautifully made piece, obvious age wear. Length 1.34 inches.

From the Greek colonies in southern Italy. Trefoil oinochoe depicting a nude satyr, also known as a silenus or silenos, typically portrayed as a male figure with ears and a tail, said to be resembling features of a horse, and with a large phallus, the sides decorated with floral design. 3rd/4th Century B.C. 5 1/4 inches high. Wonderful rare antique Japanese Funa Tansu (ship safe chest), all made of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood with heavy iron work, single door is a separate drop in panel with 3 locks, interior consists of 6 drawers of different sizes (2 of which have heavy iron locks), all drawers have thick Keyaki fronts and Kirinoki (Paulownia) wood interiors, beautiful grain and finish throughout, Kashiwa mon on front is made of bronze encircled in iron, comes with one key, characters in ink on bottom, Edo Period...

This charming adult female Door of Hope doll is 11 inches tall. Her face is somewhat darkened with age and the lower fronts of her trouser legs are faded from sunlight. She has all of her original clothing layers. Her top tunic is a bit dirty in the front and has a small tear at the rear of the right sleeve. Yet, even with these "condition problems" she retains the quiet beauty which has made the door of hope dolls such a collectors treasure.

A true Original antique tibetan lacquer trunk with hand-painted dragons on the top and sides in bright green and red pigment. The sides of the chest have the image of a gold pigment horse. Wonderful size, full of color and gorgeous detail.

The back side of charger has 12 Maru-mon design. The condition of charger is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline...

This late 19th or early 20th century lacquered bronze statue of a boy is 8 ¾ inches high, 4 inches wide and 2 ½ inches thick. It has a signature “Mantoshi” on the back. Aside from some wear due to its age, it is in good condition.
