An Arita bowl decorated with a design of Azami, Thistles, a motif emblematic of Spring painted in a refined pencilled style called senbeki. A blue and white hand painted Canton oval serving dish with a rain cloud border under stars and an outward turned rim decorated with lines of rain. The interior with the usual Canton scene including bridge, pagodas, sailboats and islands in the distance. The bottom unglazed and showing good orange peel from the firing. 8 7/8 inches (22.5 cm) long, 6 ¾ inches (17 cm) and 1 ½ inches (4 cm). Circa 1850.

A porcelain teapot stand with a dry base and a blue transferred scene of a Chinese house surrounded by trees on an island. A boat is landing at one side of the island. The raised rim is printed with Chinese patterns, some blurred in the transfer. Bands of gilt are on the top and bottom edges of the raised rim. The rounded trapezoidal shape is relieved with rectangular indentations. Circa 1810...

The deep "U"-shaped body painted to the exterior with plump feathery tailed godfish swimming amongst wafes in sgraffiato technique. Underglaze blue Qianlong Mark, Republican Period. Imperial Quality. Diameter : 8,1 cm. H : 7,4 cm. Condition : One cup in perfect condition. The other cup with one extremely fine hairline crack to the rim which is not visible with the naked eye.
