This is a superb Chinese yixing teapot GONJU with dark brown clay. It's well balanced in the hand. There are some chips in the inner lid, otherwise it's in excellent condition. It's signed GONGJU mark on the base.

Chinese crackle glaze porcelain statue of a seated Quan Yi, the bodhisattva of compassion. She holds her hands clasped in prayer or meditation and wears long, white robes with a hood pulled over her head. She is seated upon a blue-green glazed pedestal with deep blue and red flecking. Ca. mid 1700s

This melon-form biscuit porcelain pot is mostly covered in rich yellow enamel glaze with green enamel used to pick out the leaves and stem. A low foot with dark enamel glaze supports the melon on its side, and an opening is carved in the top to receive the water and brush. There is an old hairline crack that runs from the opening down the side for about an inch and there is a small chip on the side of the opening, but it is still completely usable as a brush washer.
