Measuring 12 1/2", and finely cast in bronze, this figure represents a Faun or Satyr, one of the followers of Pan, and the original was discovered in the ruins of Pompeii in 1830. With good detail, and true to the original statue, this one has a dark patina, with verdigris visible around the head primarily, and some wear to the patina on the body. Of nineteenth century original, and most likely a Grand Tour souvenir.

A Birks Ellis Louis XV sterling silver 11" soup ladle with gilding and no monogram. This 11" ladle weighs 132 grams and it is stamped STERLING with the mark for P. W. Ellis & Co. of Toronto (taken over by Birks in 1928). It retains the original gold gilding on the inside and outside of the bowl and it is in excellent condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, pattern ware, losses, damage or repairs...

Pair of American coin silver open salts by Robert and William Wilson, working in Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1825. Each salt is decorated with a gadrooned rim and is supported by three hoof feet. Hammered interiors; each engraved with original owner's initials 'JCS' and stamped on the underside with the maker's mark R&W WILSON in a rectangle...

Fabulous pair of vintage Los Castillo weighted copper angel candleholders in a classic Salvador Teran design from the 1950s, I believe. These can be found in brass and silver plate with or without inlaid wings but I love the fantastic patina that the copper has developed over the years in this pair. Though a set, one of the pieces is slightly bigger than the other - they are after all handwrought works and bound to exhibit small dissimilarities...

A Tiffany Sterling Silver Sauce or Gravy ladle in the "Flemish" pattern, introduced in 1911. Length 7.25", weight 3 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Gorham Sterling Silver Creamer and Sugar, with the Date Mark for 1906. The Creamer is 2 3/4" high x 4 1/8" handle to spout. The Sugar is 3 1/4" high x 5 1/2" handle to handle. Their is s slight nick (almost invisible) on the back of the Sugar, with the monogram "CRH" on the front.

English George IV sterling silver wine jug, London, 1829, by silversmith Benjamin Preston. Size: 9 3/8 in. ht. x 7 1/2" x 5 in. 23.3 Troy ounces. An attractive and substantial hot water or wine jug, adorned with applied acanthus leaf motifs and repousse work. and supported on three scrolled feet. Engraved with family monogram in a cartouche, and with later presentation from 1928 on base. Nice condition but with a single push in on the underside where one foot attaches.

A Joan of Arc International sterling silver handle 3 pc large carving set. It consists of the 13-3/8" carving knife, the 11-1/8" carving fork and the 13-1/8" sharpening steel. The tines and blade are stainless steel, the handles are sterling silver and the guards/bolsters are silver, rather than stainless steel (the pattern was introduced in 1940). This 3 piece is in superb condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs and it shows only slight signs of gentle use...

English George III period sterling silver oval tea caddy, London, 1796, by John Crouch I and Thomas Hannam. Size: 4 inches high x 4 inches long x 2 1/2 inches deep. Excellent condition with no repairs or damage. Engraved on the front with a family crest. Fully hallmarked on the side and also on the lid with lion passant and maker's stamp. The wooden finial is carved and is secured to the cover with a sterling nut.

A Pair of Russian silver candlesticks; makers name (Karla & JC)? dated 1893. They are 13" high and decorated with grape vines, the stem is based on a circular base with foliate supports, each fully marked. 19 T. oz.

A Tiffany and Co. sterling silver pedestal tazza dessert stand in the desirable Blackberry pattern. No monogram. Size: 8 inches diameter x 3.5 inches ht. Circa 1907-1938 mark. Excellent condition.

A set of six M.H. Wilkens German .800 silver butter knives. These hollow handle 7" knives have a hammered finish and an attractive somewhat Arts and Crafts design handle, and are stamped 800 with the German silver mark along with the maker's mark for M.H. Wilkens & Sohn (1810-). They have stainless blades marked .NR and they are in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A Rogers 7 piece silver plated tea service set with a tip kettle from the 1950s. This nice quality set is signed (Eagle)WmROGERS(star) E.P COPPER LEAD MOUNTS and it consists of the 6-3/8" across the handles and 5-3/4" tall covered sugar bowl, the 5-1/2" across from spout to handle creamer or cream jug, the 10-5/8" tall coffee pot, the 10" tall teapot and the 3-3/4" across and 3-1/2" tall spooner (or extra open sugar bowl)...

A Victorian Aesthetic silver plated hot water pot by Reed & Barton 1876. This 9-1/4" tall pot is stamped with the Reed & Barton mark, the 2764 pattern number and the patent date of Feb. 1, 1876. It has fine floral high relief feet and floral bands plus hand tooling and a pebbled finish on the top panel. It has a hinged lid with a tight spout cover and the finial is a basket with flowers and it would make a fine syrup pitcher...

Scarce pair of antebellum New Orleans coin silver repousse decorated goblets by Christopf Christian Kuchler. Circa 1855. Engraved 'P. Irwin' for Patrick Irwin (1810-1878), a prominent citizen of New Orleans and Alderman, Louisiana State Representative, and co-founder of the Hibernia Bank. Retailed by Hyde and Goodrich of Royal Street. Size: 6 inches ht. Excellent condition. Makers mark stamped to underside of foot.
