Measuring 12" high (just under 31 cm)this cut glass ewer or claret jug is mounted with silver (800) and has an indistinct makers mark and the silver standard for Germany introduced in 1884, the quarter moon and crown. The interior of the silver mounts are gilt, and there are gilt details on the geometric sections of the repousse design. The designs are cut into vertical panels in the glass, with both diamond point and star designs, each panel below another panel in silver...

This cane is made of extremely strong hardwood and unfolds with the push of your thumb. The seats were made of canvas and rarely survive. Can be easily replaced. This model has a very clever mechanism. There have been more patents filed for seat canes than any other type of cane known. Pat. in 1860s. Condition (Excellent). Size 35" L.

A vintage c1930s ornate pair of sterling silver open salt dishes in the form of winged swans with cobalt glass salt dishes. The swans have fine detail and embossing along with openwork; the wings are riveted with silver plate on brass pins. These fine table decorations measure 3" long and 3" tall. The swans test as silver (they are unmarked) and the wings pivot a bit, and this fine set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

It dates to the early or mid 19th century, measuring approximately 71" square, and is backed with later red fabric. Majolica pottery bowl with water lily or lotus motif by Holdcroft. The English potter Joseph Holdcroft established the Sutherland Pottery in Longton at Daisy Bank, England in 1870 and operated until 1906 when its name changed to Holdcroft Ltd., as which they continued operations until 1920. Having eighteen years experience at the Mintons pottery, Holdcroft was proficient in manufacturing majolica, especially birds and flowers. Measures 11.5 x 10.5 x 4.5.

This is a wonderful and rare French Napoleon the third Rocking Horse. It was made circa 1880. The same cast iron head was used on Tricycle model as well. Unique to this style is the fact that it has retractable wheels that allow for a Rocking/Rolling horse. Very Cool! Obviously well loved and often repaired, this provenance adds to the patina and charm. Truly a lovely piece approx 3 feet long by 28 inches tall
