A rare art deco shallow bowl by the designer Wilhelm Kage (1889-1960) who trained under Henri Matisse. This item was probably produced during the 1940s as part of the "Argenta" range by Gustavsberg, Sweden. Condition -there is surface wear to the silver overlay and there is a chip next to one of the handles and associated light hairline (please see enlargements 6 and 7). 23.5cm (9.25 inches)diameter.

A rare Staffordshire "Prattware" tea caddy, unusually with original cover. On each side are moulded caricatures of Georgian "society" figures with their servants/attendants. This item was made during the last quarter of the 18th Century, circa 1780-1790. Condition - there are chips to the under side of the cover and the finial has been re-glued. There are some minor surface glaze losses to the edges and the figures. There are no cracks and there has been no restoration. 6.5 inches (16.5cm) high

This dessert dish is in a pattern well known as Chamberlain Worcester's "Dragon In Compartment" or "Bengal Tyger" and is in excellent condition. 8 1/2" in diameter c1800.

A Worcester molded cabbage leaf pattern jug printed in blue with trailing bouquets, scattered flowers and insects, the rim molded with a band of stiff leaves, underglaze blue painters mark, c1758, overall good condition having a large hairline crack extending from rim to base, other small hairlines and a small inside rim chip, approx. 8 1/2 in.h

Heavy, crystal, ovoid shaped vase internally decorated with fish in pond weed. Vase is highly reflective to give impression of many more fish swimming in pond.
