Chinese Guan-style ceramic bowl, with everted rims above the shallow bowl, further raised on a short foot, coated with a cracked celadon glaze, the

Carved ivory okimono of a Japanese peddler with a pack slung over his back and carrying a fish. Probably Meiji period. Fine detailing to his facial features, to the two rats, and to the patterns on his clothing. Excellent condition. Size: 7 inches ht. (excluding wooden stand). Artist signed on under side of base.
By the London silversmith, John Keith, this ornate cream jug was made in 1853.
The hallmarks are all clear, and include the silver standard, Queen Victoria, the date mark and mark of Keith.
It measures 5 1/4" high and is 4 1/4" wide from tip of lip to handle.
Lovely rococo repousse designs, with the base standing on four feet in the shape of hooves.
There is a small bird engraved on the front, not clear in photos, and also worn.

Ornate plique a jour translucent enamel coffee spoon in unmarked gilt silver. Probably Norwegian. Early 20th century. The bowl decorated in polychrome enamels with a blue enamel border and with a foliate and berry center that mirrors the floral enamel finial. Victorian Mercury glass demijohn bottle, 19th century. This early example of Mercury glass is hand blown with a rough pontil mark on the underside and a sheared lip at the top of the narrow neck. The rectangular form is embellished with vertical ribbing. The mercury finish is in very good condition, with only a single half inch diameter area where the finish exhibits signs of oxidation. There are bubbles visible in the glass. Dimensions: 9.5" wide x 7" deep x13.25" high.
