A Birks Ellis Louis XV sterling silver 11" soup ladle with gilding and no monogram. This 11" ladle weighs 132 grams and it is stamped STERLING with the mark for P. W. Ellis & Co. of Toronto (taken over by Birks in 1928). It retains the original gold gilding on the inside and outside of the bowl and it is in excellent condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, pattern ware, losses, damage or repairs...

Measuring 12 1/2", and finely cast in bronze, this figure represents a Faun or Satyr, one of the followers of Pan, and the original was discovered in the ruins of Pompeii in 1830. With good detail, and true to the original statue, this one has a dark patina, with verdigris visible around the head primarily, and some wear to the patina on the body. Of nineteenth century original, and most likely a Grand Tour souvenir.

This 4-3/8 x 3-1/2" dish stands on three ball feet, it is stamped with a full set of Sheffield 1906 hallmarks and it has the maker's mark for Cooper Bros. & Sons (CB&S in a shield). An Austrian cold painted bronze quails figurine from around 1900. This highly detailed 1-1/2" wide and 1-1/8" tall group depicts a pair of finely detailed quail birds with brown, white and red cold painting. It is stamped GESCHIT 1134 on the bottom and it is in fair condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, or repairs however it has a rough area on the side of the tall bird which may have been where another bird was attached originally...

A Victorian Aesthetic silver plated hot water pot by Reed & Barton 1876. This 9-1/4" tall pot is stamped with the Reed & Barton mark, the 2764 pattern number and the patent date of Feb. 1, 1876. It has fine floral high relief feet and floral bands plus hand tooling and a pebbled finish on the top panel. It has a hinged lid with a tight spout cover and the finial is a basket with flowers and it would make a fine syrup pitcher...

A beautiful pair of antique Sheffield Silver wine coasters circa 1850 hallmarked Padley Parkin & Co Sheffield England 1849 - 1855. Wine grape and grape leaf decoration with wood interiors. Sheffield plate, a sheet of silver is fused on to a thicker one of copper and the compound billet rolled, both metals expanding equally, become a thins sheet of copper coated with a layer of silver. About 1840 the Electroplate process superseded Sheffield Plate. Its production ceased about 1860.

Coin silver table spoon by Frederick Marquand in the fiddle and thread pattern. Circa 1820s. Frederick Marquand worked in Savannah, Georgia and in New York City. From 1820-1826 he worked in Savannah and then relocated to NYC . It is likely that this spoon was manufactured during his time in Savannah. Size: 8 3/4 inches length. 2.85 troy ounces. Engraved on handle with script initial 'F.' Excellent condition with no dings or wear to the bowl. Hallmarks are crisp and legible.

English George III period sterling silver oval tea caddy, London, 1796, by John Crouch I and Thomas Hannam. Size: 4 inches high x 4 inches long x 2 1/2 inches deep. Excellent condition with no repairs or damage. Engraved on the front with a family crest. Fully hallmarked on the side and also on the lid with lion passant and maker's stamp. The wooden finial is carved and is secured to the cover with a sterling nut.

A scarce antique period sterling silver filigree posey holder or tussie mussie c1900. Late Victorian or early Edwardian period posey holders, popularly known as tussie mussies in the UK, were used to hold floral bridal bouquets. This ornate but delicate looking 3" long example has a loop for the (now missing) chain which would have terminated in a heavy straight pin which went through the bottom section of the posey to keep it in place...

William Comyns English Arts & Crafts sterling nurse's belt buckle, fully hallmarked for London, England 1901-2. This stunning 2 piece buckle weighs 79.6 grams, it measures 4-3/4" x 2-3/4" in total, it has the stylized A&C flower bud in the central sections, and the curvilinear border with beaded pierced gallery gives this piece excellent motion. While William Comyns was a productive producer of silver small wares, his Arts & Crafts period work is not common, and as in this case, it was well made...

Pair of Knight's helmet sterling silver pepper casters by George Unite and Sons, Birmingham, 1881. These scarce pepper pots or shakers were created by the specialist silversmith firm of George Unite in 1881-1882. They are not weighted and are crafted in the form of a medieval knight's armored helmet with pierced and movable visor.
