Beautiful silk kimono. It's a pricy item in Japan. This silk is not a soft kind, coarse kind without a liner for the summer use. The color is lined with a very white soft silk. Beautiful view of an old house in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. The design is finer in detail than shown in the pictures. All the designs are woven with silk thread and real gold wrapping thread. There is no need for extra spot light for this obi to shine (as shown here).

Nobori Japanese banners, carps, warrior’s Yoroi and Kabuto (helmet), Musha-ningyo dolls and samurai swords are all the part of the display used for the Boy’s Days (renamed to Children’s Day), May 5th, in Japan. Culturally, the Japanese emphasize anything to do with children. The Girl’s day with hina dolls is in March. This Day is to wish for their son's health and future welfare. It is also to inspire boys in their manliness and hopefully bravery, discipline and honor codes come with it...

A Sheffield plated tea urn circa 1806, on four ball feet, fluted paw-foot columns, body of circular form having two ring handles and oval plate stamped with London, 1806, TH marks, the dome cover has ball finial and greek key design border, no lamp, overall very good condition consistant with age, some wear of plating, one ball foot having two concentric circles instead of three, one ball foot brass, 19 in. H approx.

A Victorian 1/4 oak and nickel plated mounted three bottle tantalus inset with three square cut crystal spirit decanters, English, very good condition with some minor wear to the nickelplate, 15L X 6 1/4W in X 13H.

A Worcester molded cabbage leaf pattern jug printed in blue with trailing bouquets, scattered flowers and insects, the rim molded with a band of stiff leaves, underglaze blue painters mark, c1758, overall good condition having a large hairline crack extending from rim to base, other small hairlines and a small inside rim chip, approx. 8 1/2 in.h

A large figural mirror, cast with a young girl gazing at the foliage, the wooden back having a metal easel support, stamped WMF , overall very good condition , a few abrasions to surface, glass not original, approx. 20 X12 in., may be a reproduction.

This is an elegant early 20th century Bohemian molded glass drinks set, probably Moser, comprising a lobed decanter and six conical banded cordial glasses, each applied with a gilded acid cut-back frieze composed of birds and flowers. The decanter is 10 1/4 in H and the glasses are 4 1/4 in H approx.

This set of three Georg Jensen small serving pieces comprises a pastry server in the Beaded pattern, and a sugar spoon and demitasse spoon in the Mayan pattern. They are in excellent condition, may need cleaning. The server measures 4 7/8 in., sugar spoon is 3 7/8 in and the demitasse spoon is 4 in. All are approximate measurements. The three pieces weigh 2.47 oz.

This is a very fine miniature Viennese silver and enamel coffee can and saucer c1860-1870, painted with a classical building central on cup and a monument on the saucer in shades of red, yellow, blue and green having birds, flowers and ribbons surround. The undersides of the cup and saucer are also enameled. This teacup and saucer are in overall good condition, having a flake in the center of the saucer and small repair on saucer underside with some yellowing. This item measures 1 5/8 in H

This is a Russian enamel "Cup of Sorrow" dated 1896 having the Imperial crest of the double headed eagle commemorating the Coronation of Czar Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Fedorovna and ultimately resulting in his overthrow. This cup is in overall good condition but does have some rust spots along the rim and base. It is approximately 4 1/8 in. H

This is an outstanding die-stamped novelty sterling silver chamberstick made in Birmingham, England c1843 by John Willmore, having a detailed leaf and acorn shape. It is 5 1/4 inches H and in excellent condition but may need cleaning.

This is a fanciful Dutch silver glass-lined mustard pot and spoon having neoclassical piercing depicting figures in a garden setting, c1848. It has a domed cover, ball feet and is marked on the body, lid and handle. It stands 2 1/2 inches high and is in excellent condition.

This is a delicate pair of sterling silver grape scissors made by Tiffany and Co. with handles having applied reticulated scroll design and steel inlaid into the cutting edge of the blade, backstamp somewhat worn, marked Tiffany and Sterling, 5 1/4 in H approx and 1.34 oz.

This is a fine American five piece sterling silver tea and coffee service manufactured by Whiting Manufacturing Co comprising a tea and coffee pot, two-handled covered sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl, each having a bombe body with half fluted design, the coffee and tea pots with bombe shaped hinged covers with conforming decoration, cap finials, and scroll handles with ivory stoppers, all bottom stamped with Whiting mark, sterling, 2552, and number of piece, monogrammed C, in excellent condi...

This is a set of four cased green-to-clear Bohemian lead crystal wine goblets, each comprising a bowl enameled with a Rococo-floral motif in two-colored gold, having an air-twist stem and resting on a conical base. Harrach distinctive gold enamel decoration employed on base and rim, c1900, signed H on underside of base, in excellent condition, H7 1/2 in approx.

This is a wonderful Bohemian glass vase attributed to Moser comprising a tulip-shaped body with castellated rims on a half dome base, heavily enameled with platinum and gold in an intricate pattern of grapes and foliage decoration, gold banding to rim, in excellent condition, 6 1/2 in H approx.
