An Art Deco sterling silver tea ball strainer with chain and ring for steeping loose tea leaves circa 1920s. This vintage and classically simple tea serving piece includes the original chain and it has the original finger ring. It is stamped with an obscured silver mark on the finger ring, it is 1-3/8" in diameter and it weighs 17.7 grams. It is in excellent condition with no monograms, bends, corrosion, dents, losses, damage or repairs...

Coin silver table spoon by Frederick Marquand in the fiddle and thread pattern. Circa 1820s. Frederick Marquand worked in Savannah, Georgia and in New York City. From 1820-1826 he worked in Savannah and then relocated to NYC . It is likely that this spoon was manufactured during his time in Savannah. Size: 8 3/4 inches length. 2.85 troy ounces. Engraved on handle with script initial 'F.' Excellent condition with no dings or wear to the bowl. Hallmarks are crisp and legible.

An antique Rogers Star silver plated julep or punch or cocktail strainer spoon circa 1890. This 5-3/4" spoon has a pierced 2-3/4" across bowl and it was used to strain fruits and spices from juleps, punch or poured cocktails. It is stamped 1847 R.B. A1 for Rogers Brothers and it is in very good condition with no monograms, dents, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor bending to the join area of the handle and a bit of minor plating heel wear. A Loetz Crete Papillon 7" Czech art glass green vase 1890 1900. This period vase has the famous Papillon finish in green (Crete) and this line was introduced in 1898. It has a tapered 3-1/8" across girdle and 2-5/8" base. It is in very good condition with no cracks, wear or repairs however there is a 1/4" rim chip mostly affecting the inside of the rim with minimal impact to the outside - this vase can be ground down to eliminate the chip if you are so inclined...

This hand hammered covered serving platter is stunning, with exceptional detail and refinement. It is large, measuring 21 1/2" x 10 1/4" wide, 9 1/2" high (to tips of lobster antennae), and the applied lobster handle with seaweed is 10". The surface is all hand hammered, and the bottom of the tray is stippled. It is stamped "silver plate" on the tray, just under the lip of the top, with no makers mark...

This is an antique fukusa (Japanese gift cover) that the design came from the old folk tale called Urashima Taro. It is the story of a man who rescued a turtle from a group of cruel children. The turtle, who happened to be a princess of a dragon palace in disguise, returns later to thank him. The turtle invited him to tour the undersea world to her palace. He spends many days wined (with sake, I suppose) and dined, forgetting the time...

The ball inclusion visually changes shape dependent upon ones viewing angle. Piece is a cube measuring 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) tall, wide and deep.
