Japanese Imari vase Meiji period circa 1890 a large bulbous base with a long neck. Hand painted in traditional Imari design and colors with blossoms and landscape elements. A fine piece with 24k gold color highlights in excellent condition some roughness to the bottom edge. A fine addition to any collection.

A rare art deco shallow bowl by the designer Wilhelm Kage (1889-1960) who trained under Henri Matisse. This item was probably produced during the 1940s as part of the "Argenta" range by Gustavsberg, Sweden. Condition -there is surface wear to the silver overlay and there is a chip next to one of the handles and associated light hairline (please see enlargements 6 and 7). 23.5cm (9.25 inches)diameter.
Piero Fornasetti porcelian dish of the advertising poster for Arturo Toscanini's Concert at La Scala. The dish is gold trimmed and measures 5.25 inches (13 cm) wide and is 8.5 inches (22 cm) and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in height. There is some wear to the gold trim but there are no chips, cracks or repairs. This is an original Fornasetti not a later Rosenthal re-issue. Marked on back with Fornasetti Logo, FORNASETTI-MILANO/MADE IN ITALY, followed by a small gold letter "P". Circa 1951

An Early Capo di Monte Jewelry Box or Coffer, with a Lidded Cover. The Hinges, Clasp and Borders are of Bronze. The Scenes Depicted are Mythological. The dimensions are 8.25" wide x 5" deep x 5" high. It dates from 1820-1840 and is in excellent condition.

This is an unusual Vienna ruby-ground tea canister, late 19th /early 20th century, signed "Kruzka", bearing the blue beehive marked and inscribed "Sapho"; hand painted with a rectangular cartouche of the goddess Sappho in an elaborately chased gilt surround with similarly decorated rectangular cartouche of putti; also decorated with chased gilt medallions of birds and foliate scroll.

A 19th century pottery Mettlach stein with blue, ivory, grey and white colors. Of quarter liter volume and intended for use with wine (judging from grape and vine decoration throughout.) Four decorative panels in arches on the mug - three with a different imbibing figure on each and the fourth, under the handle, with large grape and vine decoration. Grape and vine also in a band above the arch separate panels...
