A contemporary match safe fashioned in the shape of a hound's head in sterling silver, London, by silversmith David A. Bowles, 2004. This match safe or vesta case is a contemporary copy of a Victorian original. It is very detailed and of heavy weight. The dog's collar hinges open to reveal the matches inside, and there is a striker under the chin. Fully hallmarked for London, 2004. Size: 2 inches length x 1.25 inches depth x 1 inch ht. Excellent original condition, with no damage.

Large, extremely colorful, bowl swirled in shades peacock blue, red, amber, green, gold, and white. Clear applied crystal foot with polished pontil, and three plastic "feet". This sleek and simple Maya purse is made of resin with a pattern simulating python skin. Maya frequently uses animal or plant textures in her designs and this wonderful purse is a good example of that. Purse and detachable chain are adorned with semi-precious stones as are most all of Maya's resin bags. Antiqued metal resembling copper frame the bag. Louis Vuitton brass paperweight, produced by Louis Vuitton in the early 1980's, was made to resemble a Louis Vuitton trunk right down to the locks and handles. MS-12 signed, Matl Salas, and after 1980 earrings are hard to find. The length is 3 inches long. These are pierced ears and a pair of stabilizer backs for comfort are included. No dents or damage.

This pair of Matl Salas (after 1978) clip earrings are repousse that is magnificently carved. They are birds in flight with an enviable presence. These are difficult to obtain in this large size, no damage and the clips are nice and tight. The height is 1 3/8th in. and they are 2.25in. across.

Large pair of Jugtown ware thrown candlesticks, vintage, in black glossy glaze. Measure 13 1/2" high, 5" in diameter at base. The lip on the cup is about 2 1/4" in diameter, and narrows inside so it can hold various size candles. This two piece millefiore Fairylamp is beautiful when lit! The millefiore have transparent blue centers, surrounded by concentric circles of red, lattimo and gold on a lattimo ground. cased in clear glass.
