George III sterling silver oval cake basket with swing handle, London, 1800-1801, by famous silversmiths Robert & David Hennell. This basket is supported on an oval pedestal foot and has reeded decoration on the rims and handle, as well as a band of floral engraving. It is hallmarked with a full set of marks on the inside of the rim and with the lion passant and maker's stamps only on the handle. Excellent condition, no monogram, or repairs. An Austrian cold painted bronze quails figurine from around 1900. This highly detailed 1-1/2" wide and 1-1/8" tall group depicts a pair of finely detailed quail birds with brown, white and red cold painting. It is stamped GESCHIT 1134 on the bottom and it is in fair condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, or repairs however it has a rough area on the side of the tall bird which may have been where another bird was attached originally...

Newcomb College Art Pottery bowl with Narcissus. The sharply carved design is done in yellow, white, blue, and green glazes by Sadie Irvine. Potter was Joseph Meyer. A beautiful Large Staffordshire blue transfer ware well and tree platter made by Clews circa 1825. The platter features a scenic view of travelers in a landscape with ruins and a floral border. Measuring an impressive 21 inches by 16.5 inches the condition is excellent but for a minor chip that was successfully reattached (see picture) . It is amazing that there are virtually no knife marks or signs of use for a piece nearly 200 years old...

George III sterling silver ink stand by Henry Chawner, London, 1795. The sterling boat-form stand holds three matching, faceted pots with sterling tops, including a sanding pot, inkwell, and pen holder. All pots bear identical hallmarks that match the full set of marks on the underside of the stand. Also incised with the engraved initials "D.A.D." and "No. 18" to underside of stand. Coin silver table spoon by Frederick Marquand in the fiddle and thread pattern. Circa 1820s. Frederick Marquand worked in Savannah, Georgia and in New York City. From 1820-1826 he worked in Savannah and then relocated to NYC . It is likely that this spoon was manufactured during his time in Savannah. Size: 8 3/4 inches length. 2.85 troy ounces. Engraved on handle with script initial 'F.' Excellent condition with no dings or wear to the bowl. Hallmarks are crisp and legible.

Measures 6 3/4" high and is 7 1/4" in diameter.
Signed on lid, looks like C S, possibly another letter and the number 9. No marks on base, but there are some pockmarks visible, so any marks in those areas would be missing.
The base has a basketweave design, very much like the works of Joshua Wedgwood, who created the first of these wares in the late 18th century.

This ladle was formed from a single steer horn and has been polished by years of use in service culinary soups and stews etc...Origins British Isles probably Scottish. There is a crack in the bowl but it retains its beauty as an object of the domestic arts.
Rounded cube paperweight with sightly irregular surface texture and flat polished top and base, gold foil ball inclusion in center of weight. The ball inclusion visually changes shape dependent upon ones viewing angle. Piece is a cube measuring 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) tall, wide and deep.
