A very early and scarce Arts and Crafts 8" American pottery vase in the Early Velmoss pattern, made by Roseville. This vase features an Arts & Crafts design with leaves; the glaze is a pleasant green with bluish and tan highlights, as well as relief molding. It has the bottom finish typical of this pattern, and it has remnants of the original pencil marks (otherwise this piece is unsigned)...

Aesthetic style coin silver octagonal bowl by William Forbes for the famous firm of Ball, Tomkins and Black, New York. Circa 1845. This bowl was probably originally part of a tea and coffee service. It weighs a substantial 12.92 troy ounces and measures 3.5 inches ht. x 5.75 inches diameter. It is beautifully engraved with chinoiserie decoration, using stylized Chinese pagodas and scrolling foliage. One panel is engraved with the family monogram 'MEW.' Excellent condition.

Turned ivory handle; the silver bell engraved with all-over decoration including motifs of foliate scrolls, birds, swags, and an armoured helm, together with a family crest. Measuring 7 1/4" wide, 4 1'2" high, and 5" deep, this bronze inkwell features the head of a lion or other big cat, and has applied glass eyes. The patina is dark, with lighter tones where it has been handled and rubbed. The piece is cast in three pieces, the head having a hinged lid, and is fastened to the back of the base with screws. It is unsigned, but is of exceptionally high quality in the casting of the head, with nice detail and texture...

Rare American Boston and Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, Massachusetts cut overlay bell pull, with white glass over cranberry and with brass end mounts. The pull has five elongated cranberry glass oval facets and is adorned with cut swirl and petal designs. 19th century. Size: 6 1/8 inches x 2 3/8 inches diameter. Excellent condition.

An attractive Royal Albert double ice roses cup and saucer from the 1960s in the Montrose shape. The roses are white and pink with blue and black leaves on this 2-7/8" tall cup and matching 5-5/8" saucer. Unusually this example has attractive lavender edging, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs...

Painted to depict lotus blossoms and tendrils, having a seal mark in underglaze red to underside, interior and foot ring glazed turquoise, raised on carved hardwood stand, measures 6.5"Dia. x 2.75"H, circa late 19th-early 20th century. Table form Cigar Lighter in Sterling silver. Lighter is shaped like an ornate Aladdin's lamp. The lighter is missing it's wick holder, and has a few minor dings. The piece is hallmarked Edinburgh and has the word STERLING and the number 80. The piece measures 4 inches (10.16 cm) long, 3 inches (7.62 cm) tall and is 1 7/8 inches (4.6 cm) wide. Circa 1923.

A decorative globular shaped table cigarette lighter in Murano glass, with a Japanese inserted fluid lighter. This 3-3/8" diameter lighter is in a great forest green glass with opulent gold swirls; it is unsigned and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; the lighter appears unused, however it will need a flint and a bit of oiling (the mechanism is a bit stiff)...

Georgian physician's blood letting set including a silver mounted green shagreen case with hinged top, complete with its four original thumb lancets, each with a triangular steel blade housed in hinged tortoiseshell protective guards. Circa 1790. Three of the steel blades are stamped with the cutler's mark of a crown with a six pointed star below, while the fourth blade is stamped SARLING. The set is in remarkable condition, with the only the catch for the lid closure being missing...
