This Matilde Poulat Mexico City folkloric bracelet in the Moth design has the early 30's mark of 930. Her taller Matl produced her heaviest silver work in it's beginnings. The bracelet is repousse and 7in. long. It is large measuring 1.75 in. tall. There are lines and matrix in the turquoise but no cracks or chips. All folkloric work has it crumples and cloud like puffy surfaces and this one is in excellent condition. There is glare in my photos and a natural super deep patina to it's surface...

Measuring 4 inches long & 3 1/2" wide, this impressive hand wrought moth brooch was designed & signed in the 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Los Castillo design 183 is 1in. tall and is constructed using the repousse technique. The silver is very thick which weighs 50 grams and has a width is 1in. I have left the natural patina on this bracelet and will leave it to the buyer to highlight as desired. You can see the fish are swimming through waves and bubbles without a dent or damage. This Dominguez displays turquoise stones that have all warmed with time which collectors long for. While having a wearable length of 17inches it is also quite wide at 1 1/15th inches. The style of Mexico City folkloric is clearly recognizable from Matilde Poulats work in the same era. A Fantastic look with a basic white button down shirt. We do not find this old hallmark of Martinez very often but when we do it is special. This is a rare one with amethyst stones and carved silver dangles with repousse beads. The over all length is 19in. with the chain and just the links are 16in. The height is 1 3/8ths inches making it a bold treasure. Martinez is known for his stone work and all of these amethyst match very well with some looking lighter depending on the direction of the camera flashes. No chips or damage to the silver or stone...

Something this breath taking does not need much of a description. Designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they began the Taller of Los Castillo. Design 475 has a wearable length of 17 inches plus a bit more which is fashioned from a leaf pattern. Repousse of quality, depth and natural patina while having a heavy weight of 96 grams of almost pure silver. No repairs or damage of any kind, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Today we feature Antonio Pineda's work with an older hallmark of Silver by Tono. Every link is a floral sculpture. The links are thick and 3 dimensional as they vine around the neck. The weight is 120 grams of almost pure silver. The wearable length is 16.5 in. This is my favorite period of his work as his designs are warmer and flow with great beauty. I have never seen this vintage design 441 Los Castillo bracelet before. It has a striking presence at 1.5in. tall and has excellent weight at 78 grams. The length is 7 inches which fits most. There are no damages or repairs on this treasure. The patina is natural and dark. I added a picture of a Doris Silver pectoral also listed on my site that is a wonderful pairing to this bracelet.
