This is an incredible William Spratling necklace from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Finding one of these is really a treasure due to how rare they really are but this one is even more rare due to 18kt balls in it's center and again on a thick layer of the medallion below the balls. These have been tested to 18kt. The repousse is open back and is an attribute of it's early age and the hallmarks for high silver content. The name is for MOTH and it is stunning on with 3 draped ball chains...

Stunning Antonio Pineda Mexican modernist silver and black onyx necklace, this too is wrought in the maestro's favorite fine, .970 alloy in a variation of his "crescents" design. There isn't much one can say about Antonio jewelry, at least not more than a few good photos can say, but let me express my admiration for the magical way he articulates his creations so as to sit perfectly where they should and at the same time showcase the design's sculpturality in the best possible light...

Both bold & delicate this rare obsidian & sterling silver necklace was designed & signed in Mexico circa 1930's by Frederick Davis (1880-1961). The necklace is 18" long. The center obsidian drop with frame is 1 1/2 L. Signed FD on clasp. Silver and stones are in beautiful condition with no issues. Unpolished patina. The stones catch light as the necklace moves. P. 123 of WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE by Penny Morrill features a Davis necklace with a similar Art Deco feel...

This is a very rare Hector Aguilar necklace with 17 wearable inches. The weight is a tremendous 177 grams of repousse. The height is 1 and 6/8th's inches tall for a design with maximum presence. It has excellent movement and lays perfectly. No damage, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Classic 1960s Sigi Pineda Mexican silver modernist brooch in a design that looks to me like an angelfish albeit rendered in the most minimalist fashion. I consider Sigi's "niello" line one of the most inspired periods in his admittedly long and prolific career. I find that the metallic black/grey oxidation applied to some of the silver surfaces adds unsurpassed depth and sculpturality, something that in more traditionally crafted pieces is achieved by repoussage and hand-chasing...

Margot Van Voorhies designed this magnificent set with color changing like Alexandrites. The necklace lays perfectly with an unusual design. One side of the necklace chain is free hanging with no weld and is free to move with your body. It also keeps it from flipping up etc. The open end goes behind the drop so it is sight unseen. It fits like a pectoral and is 100% original with no repairs, or damage of any kind to any of the pieces to the set. The necklace is 4.5in. diameter and will fit most...

One of my favorite and, in my opinion, most accomplished early Mexico City repousse maestros, Abraham Tobias, signs this bold Deco silver cuff bracelet. Tobias was a contemporary of Matilde Poulat's and quite often his jewelry are based on her designs. He excelled in the so-called Mexico City repousse style and here he is contributing to the tradition of the sought-after "Aztec Rose" cuffs. Of medium width yet still a big bracelet (please keep in mind that this type of cuffs can be found up to 4...

Los Ballesteros is certainly known by collectors to have the best giant bangle full of polka dots. You find these (when lucky) with all onyx, obsidian, Bakelite in colors and multi stones. This is a multiple stone beauty with no damage(but plenty of glare) and all the stones are smooth. There is tiger eye, lapis, chrysoprase, obsidian and a banded blue agate that I can name. Even though the camera lens and light bends the polka dots as they go around the bracelet I assure you that they are as cl...
