A smashing sterling wire wrapped tiger eye brooch by Modernist Francisco Rebajes. The highly polished smooth tiger eye is absolutely gorgeous and it appears that the sterling wire wrap is one continuous piece ending with the ball decoration. This is a huge brooch measuring 2 7/8" by 1 1/2". It is in fine original condition and signed Rebajes Sterling. What a terrific piece by this great studio artist.

Frank Patania Sr. (1899-1964) designed this textured necklace in the 1950's. The center panel measures 1 1/4" high x 1 5/8" across. The wearable length is 17" and can be adjusted down to 15" if desired. The necklace weighs 46 grams & is in beautiful condition with a warm, aged patina. A rare and beautiful sterling and onyx cuff by William Spratling. Magnificent worn with either the onyx centered scrolls in the front or the large diamond shape panel in the front. We do not find this old hallmark of Martinez very often but when we do it is special. This is a rare one with amethyst stones and carved silver dangles with repousse beads. We have a rare bracelet with a maker's signature Meyers Silver offered today that exemplifies heavy repousse and drop dead gorgeous style. The hallmark is noted in THE LITTLE BOOK OF MEXICAN SILVER TRADE AND HALLMARKS by Hougart.
