An early piece by Los Castillo, c 1940. A huge sterling pin of a flying fish with a center blue glass stone. A bracelet with this same fish pattern is featured on page 80 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. Magnificent detail and a feeling that the fish is in motion. This piece measures 3 1/2" by 2" and is in fine original condition. It weighs 35 grams. Signed and numbered for Los Castillo. Bold and strong.

A bold hand hammered sterling bracelet by Israeli Modernist Rachael Gera. Her work is always large and spectacular and this bracelet is no exception. Shirtcuff design sterling cuff with polished free form shaped stones of amber, amethyst, topaz, aquamarine and peridot along one side and an oxidized sterling wire wrapped panel on the other side. A superb necklace by Carmen Beckmann. Rare to find, it has 6 oval bezel set unfaceted amethysts as the focus of each of the six panels. Measuring 16 1/2" end to end and 1' wide, it weighs 95 grams and is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks in the stones. Lines that you see are natural inclusions all under the surface of the stone. Circa 1960-70, this is a beautiful necklace.
