Faceted glass beads and tiny mirrorback rhinestones form this necklace by Eugene. The pendant presents a glass bead flower head thatis surrrounded by gilt leaves. It is so chunky that the picture shows shadows where none exist. Please note the beautiful backing with the Eugene plaque. The whole of the necklace is very much in the Haskell style. Contemporary French designer Pavone has created this charming piece to make you smile. He is made of galalith (an early plastic first used around the beginning of the last century. It is a protein derived from skim milk.) and presents a very contemporary design. The yellow "flowers" are small spheres. 3 1/2" high, 2" at widest, 1/4" thick. Signed Pavone on the back. White highlights do not exist on the piece, they are reflections the light used to take his picture.
