Outrageous! Sorrell, always dramatic, is true to form in this feather brooch. The curved black feathers are iridescent, shining a rich blue-green with the slightest movement. The rhinestone quill is all prong set with various sizes of clear rhinestones, and deep rich red square rhinestones. Can be worn as a regular brooch, or, perhaps, placed diagonally on the front of your shoulder,or on a hat. Endless possibilities! 7 1/2" high, 6 3/4" wide, over-all size. Rhinestone quill 3" by 2"...
Huge, ornate, heavy Haskell. Faux Baroque pearls with various size rhinestones, all prong set. Miriam Haskell oval plaque on back of brooch, earrings stamped Haskell. Brooch is 3" in diameter, 1/2" thick. Clip/screw earrings are 1 1/4" in diameter plus pearl dangle.
These hand done lamp-worked beads are probably Indian in origin, and they most likely are old, perhaps quite old. The workmanship is superb. The brass and glass compliment each other and they are enhanced by the jewel-like work on the round and elongated beads on the fringe. Very dramatic when worn. The choker is 13 1/2" around with a 1 3/4" extension, and is 1 5/8" wide...
This flower basket brooch by Vrba is spectacular, huge and very three dimensional. Verba, who formerly designed for Miriam Haskell, has outdone himself on this one! Composed of glass beads and shimmering amathyst rhinestones placed in a dark metal setting, this brooch is a show stopper when worn. And, it is a treasure for the collector. An astounding 5" high, 4" wide and (approximately) 1 1/4" deep. Signed Lawrence Vrba on an oval plaque.
In the style of Paco Rabanne who introduced "metal clothing" in the late 1960's, this Italian halter is something you are not likely to see again. Light as a feather for ease of wearing, boldly chic, and great worn under, say, an open velvet jacket, or over a long halter-shaped dress. Purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue, New York City in 1967. Fits size eight, approximately.
American designer Patrice uses semi-precious stones in her jewelry. In this case olive jade and charoite with brass and vermilion for the pendant and earrings. The necklace itself is composed of freshwater pearls and gold plated chain. Necklace is 17", pendant is 3" by 2 1/2". The clip earrings are 1" square. Note the beautiful butterfly on the back of the pendant.
Big, gorgeous, dramatic, this is a Chanel treasure, with chain measuring 29", and pendant 2 1/4".
The lion's head is central to the sun rays around it, with the classic Chanel chain around his head.
The links are all large and heavy, and one end has a fastener to unhook it you wish to wear it as a choker.
Given the size of the chain, it could also be worn as a belt.
It is signed on the back of the pendant with the Chanel name, logo, and Made in France...
The frogs(two)pendant is antique and is from Tibet. The frogs are a symbol of prosperity. the beads are Chinese turquoise and red and yellow jasper combined with sterling silver. Note the lovely design on the reverse side of the pendant. Necklace is 17" end to end. Pendant is 2 1/2" nose to foot, and 1 5/8" side to side.
Dramatic and elegant, typical of Vrba's designs. The dangles have black faceted beads and sparkling heart shaped rhinestones. There are thirty three dangles attached to eleven gold colored hearts completing the necklace. A single heart with three dangles compose the clip earrings. Appears heavy and chunky when worn, but is light weight for ease of wearing. Necklace 14" long with a 3" extender. Hearts with attached dangles are 3". Earrings are 3" long and 1 1/4" wide.
This trio of carved Bakelite bangles is great worn is stack fashion. The green are translucent, the butterscotch is opaque.Each is 7/8" wide with a 1/4" straight wall.
Hard to find Staret from the 1930's or 40's. This is a graceful pin with every rhinestone glistening brightly. Multi-layered, chunky and heavy, wonderful for any collection. Staret is stamped under the clasp. Can be worn horizontally or vertically. 3 1/2" by 1 5/8". 5/8" deep.
Spectacular Haskell! This silver-tone pendant necklace is Haskell at its best. 16" end to end, it is composed of six chains and dozens and dozens of various size prong set mirror back rhinestones in a floral-leaf three part pendant 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" high. Oval signature plaque on the back of the pendant.
Beautiful quality and design, this is an elegant set by Ciner. Heavy gold plating and enamel with brilliant prong set rhinestones. Truly a set for the collector. Necklace measures 15" around the inside, links 3/4" wide, bracelet measures 7" around the inside with links 3/4" wide.
Five strands of unusually shaped black and gray-swirl glass beads with gold spacers. Shortest strand is 18 1/2", longest is 22". The 1 3/8" clasp is very ornate with gilt flowers and leaves and black beads and mirror back rhinestones in classic, elegant Haskell fashion. Oval signature on back of clasp.
Created by contemporary American designer Patrice,this limited edition set is the very finest in quality, design and detail. Art Nouveau style is evident here in the lovely dragonfly design. Outrageous is truly the word for these Kenneth Lane dangle earrings. All stones are prong set. 4 5/8" long from the top of the clip to the bottom of the middle drop. The dangle itself is 2 1/4" by 2 1/4".
Flowers, leaves and bows from the 1930's. Luscious square red rhinestones surround pale pink aurora borealis rhinestones. these are accompanied by sterling and enamel. Brooch is 3 1/2" by 3". Hinged clip earrings are 1" in diameter.
