A 14k yellow gold birdcage or byzantine chain necklace weighing 15.5 grams. This ornate 20-1/4" chain is 1/8" wide and it has a lobster claw clasp. It has various marks including 585 14K and ITALY. We have tested the clasp, loop and clasp eye as well as the chain itself and all test as 14k gold. The Italians are renowned for their chains and this one is high quality with hollow links (hence the relatively light weight)...

Here is a lovely orchid brooch, made from richly-colored, unmarked but tested, 10kt yellow gold. It has excellent detailing, an old European cut diamond (approximately 1/3 of a carat), and a fan pearl. Weighing in at 2.6g, it measures 1” by about 7/8”, is very dimensional, and very Art Nouveau. It is unmarked, but we believe it was made in Newark, NJ based on its construction...

An antique 12k gold genuine rhodolite garnets and mine cut diamonds ring circa 1890 1900. This antique size 7-1/2 or 7.5 ring has four genuine true red colour garnets surrounded by twenty genuine mine cut diamonds in a classic marquise shape. This Victorian period piece is unmarked, but has been tested and is confirmed to be 12 K gold. It measures just over 7/8" long and is 5/16" across the elegant marquise shaped setting and it weighs 3.0 grams...

This stunning oval shell cameo pin and pendant has the air of a goddess. A 14 karat gold scalloped frame encircles a 32 x 42 shell carved with the profile of a woman. She appears to be wearing a toga and a floral garland around her neck. Perhaps she is Athena, with her intricate headpiece and proud countenance. One 0.15 carat diamond sits in her necklace. This piece dates from the 1920s.

All the precious stones are represented in this elegant 14Kt yellow gold openwork flower ring. The 3 flowers are set with emeralds, sapphires and rubies. Each flower is centered by a full-cut diamond. The openwork design is bordered on either side by pave set diamonds. This is a very unique and great looking piece of jewelry. A three dimensional flower carved of frosted crystal set in 14Kt yellow gold. The flower is sitting atop a 14Kt yellow gold stem, centered by six also 14Kt yellow gold stamens set with five natural sapphires and a diamond in the center. The broach is 2 3/16” high and 1 ½” wide at the widest part.

The six 18 X 13 millimeter oval scarabs are carved out of semiprecious stones (blood stone, tiger eye, green quartz, carnelian, blue agate, green quartz) framed in 14Kt yellow gold. 14Kt yellow gold oval links are connecting the scarabs to form the 7 ½” long bracelet.

This great Victorian Etruscan 14Kt yellow gold pendant is centered by an 18 X 13 millimeter oval faceted bezel set amethyst. A lace like masterfully created delicate Etruscan frame surrounds the center stone. The pendant is 1 7/8” high including the bail and 1” wide at the wide.
