A stunning and sophisticated sterling and amethyst necklace, bracelet and earrings set by Antonio Pineda. The design is elegant and wearable. Beautiful worn all together, the pieces are all strong enough to stand alone. The earrings are screwbacks and measure 5/8" long. The necklace is approximately 16" long ( it is curved so hard to be exact) and 1/4" wide. It weighs 80 grams. The bracelet is 8" end to end, 1/4" wide and weighs 42 grams. All of the pieces are in fine original condition...

An exuberant sterling pin with a naturalistic design by Felipe Martinez who opened his workshop "Piedra Y Plata" in 1955. The highly polished, smooth amethyst flowers seem to be bursting out of the leaves which are going in all directions.This pin, c.1955, is featured on page 186 of the Morrill book MEXICAN SILVER, however, the pin in the book has green stones rather than amethyst. The pin measures 2 6/8" by 2 1/8" and is in beautiful original condition...

A smashing sterling wire wrapped tiger eye brooch by Modernist Francisco Rebajes. The highly polished smooth tiger eye is absolutely gorgeous and it appears that the sterling wire wrap is one continuous piece ending with the ball decoration. This is a huge brooch measuring 2 7/8" by 1 1/2". It is in fine original condition and signed Rebajes Sterling. What a terrific piece by this great studio artist.

Matilde Eugenia Poulat introduced her designs under the signature "Matl" in 1934. She died in 1960. This is an early and original "Matl" ring,designed and hand made by Matilde Poulat, not to be confused with the Matl style jewelry still being produced by her nephew Richard Salas. This beautiful sterling, turquoise and amethyst ring is currently a size 7. It cannot be sized without breaking the pattern which extends around the back of the ring. This is a large brooch measuring 3" by 1 1/2". It is in beautiful original condition and hallmarked for Antonio Pineda and Los Castillo as shown. This brooch is different and interesting any way you turn it. Modernist design at its' best.

SOLD. Though not in the linear Arts Crafts style, this unmarked ring from a Boston area household is nonetheless in the same bench made discipline. This type often has a small rectangular tab stamped 'Handmade Sterling'. This one has neither, yet it is guaranteed tested to be at least sterling. Look at the applied chased leaves, flower petals, curls all layered on to a rectangular base with a double row 2mm shank. 7/8" X 5/8"...

A fabulous hand hammered sterling and stone pin from the notable Chicago Arts & Crafts workshop Carence Crafters. Pieces from this workshop are scarce and highly collectible.They represent some of the finest handmade work from the American Arts & Crafts period ,1890-1920. This fine pin measures 1 5/8" by 1". It is in beautiful condition. I am not sure, but the pin may have been replaced. Signed for Carence Crafters as shown. A rare and inspiring piece from this great time of handmade jewelry.

Vintage c 1925 Lalique like Oval Opalescent Etched Floral Glass and Lavender Iridescent Czech Faceted Beads were used to make this Lavalier Necklace Set, Signed and 'Assembled' by Mimi Dee herself in Her USA Studio.
