Margot Van Voorhies Carr designed and hallmarked this Mexican Silver Renaissance necklace. The stones are more jelly colored and are better than normally seen in Mexican silver. It is without damage and does have a wearable length of 15in. naturally to 16.5in. with an included heavy extension. The weight is 95 grams and the link is 1in. tall. Margot de Taxco heart bracelet is one of Margot Van Voorhies iconic designs from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. This is a published design in the Penny Morrill book on Margot de Taxco. The design is 1.5inches tall with dark and jelly like stones of amethyst which are a better quality than normally seen. The bracelet sits 7in. around the wrist and fits most. Design 5146 Margot de Taxco masterful necklace in a non symmetrical pectoral measuring 4.75in. across and a height of 2.75in. Condition is without damage and is a rare, properly hallmarked piece of art to wear. The eagle has worn off I believe from where it hits the chest at that point, although due to this being an early design it does not require an eagle to be correct. This is a sterling link bracelet by Hans Hansen ,(1884-1940),Denmark. It is an early piece signed with the superimposed double "H" mark, so pre- 1930. It measures 6 3/4" around in the inside and is 3/4" wide. It fastens with an ingenious screw bolt and weighs 69 grams. Fine original condition and signed as shown. A great early Hansen piece.

The jade drops are a Spanish Colonial design that is mostly seen with enormous pendants. This vintage, hand wrought wearable work of art comprised of sterling silver, pyramid shaped amethyst & channel set turquoise was designed & signed c. 1934-48 by Taxco, Mexico artist Matilde Poulat. The necklace measures 17 inches long & 1 1/2" wide. Weight 116 grams, 4.1 oz. The amethyst stones are free of silver backing allowing the stones to catch light from all sides. This is a magnificent sterling and rutilated quartz bracelet by Danish designer Bent Knudsen. There are 7 stones of the highest quality and sitting high in their settings. Signed La Estrella Taxco 980 this lotus pectoral is an exceptional work. Several artists created the Lotus design. The Taller of La Estrella produced the most beautiful pectorals and they are rare. The shop was only in business in Taxco for around 2 years. Not much is known because they were not there long but everything I have found has been astounding. This Ledesma parure is set with natural, green, sparkly Chrysoprase. All three pieces are hallmarked as shown and the earrings are clip backs. The clips are tight and in excellent condition.
