A monumental, over the top exquisite sterling and azurite cuff bracelet by Frank Patania Sr. The six saw tooth bezel set azurite stones are set on top of a row of silver scrolls alternating with large and small silver balls, the bracelet then finished in a frame of plain silver. Spectacular and rare this silver & onyx bracelet was designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda(1919-09). Bracelet measures 1 3/4" wide with a 6 3/4" wearable length. Each link is 1/4" thick. Heavy, the bracelet weighs 152 grams. Slide in clasp with safety chain work perfectly. Rare and unusual William Spratling sterling crossover ring with two conical shaped amethysts. It is a size 3 3/4 and is a magnificent pinky ring. It may have been sized at one time but I do not think so. It is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks to the stones. A terrific abstract mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. It is hinged in the back and pulls open in the front at the horizontal lines, most ingenious! The bezel set aventurine stone is a nice touch. These are the kind of designs for which Sigi is most celebrated.
