Bold and striking vintage Georg Jensen Denmark "Splash" bracelet no. 88 designed by Henning Koppel. This is a thick and heavy bracelet measuring 7 1/2" end to end, 1 1/2" wide and weighing 94 grams. Because of the thickness of the silver, the wearable length of the bracelet closed is approximately 7". It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Today we have a very rare, old pair of Matl, Matilde Poulat cufflinks that are with no damage. The coral has mellowed with age to an orange / red. The center stone is faceted amethyst and being very clear, high quality which Matilde Poulat used in her beginnings of Taller Matl. You can see sparkles reflecting from the facets but I can assure you they are not cracked just hard to photograph. Each coral stone is seated beautifully and firmly in their mountings...

This sleek, modernist and eye catching brooch was designed in the 1940-50's by artist Valentin Vidauretta during his time at Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda in Taxco, Mexico. This vintage hand-forged tie bar & belt buckle were designed by Hector Aguilar c. 1940-50's. The buckle measures 1 3/4" X 1 1/2". The money clip/tie bar is 1 3/4" long. Both are in excellent condition and together weigh 45 grams. Each piece carries Aguilar's hallmarks. The buckle is pictured on p. 107 of SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. Great gift idea!

An early sterling brooch by Mexican silversmith Matilde Poulat who signed her pieces "MATL" beginning in 1934 until her death in 1960. The motifs of this pin- doves and tiny bells- are ones she used often.The doves have coral eyes and the bells have turquoise dangles. This pin measures 2" long and 1 7/8" wide. It is in fine original condition and signed for MATL in two places on the reverse. This is a wonderful and inspired early MATL piece.

Bold and beautiful sterling and black onyx bracelet by Los Ballesteros. I believe this is originally an Antonio Pineda design. These are V shaped links with onyx inset into the sides. Each link is hinged and moves. It is in fine original condition, no chips or cracks to the stones. It measures 8 1/4" end to end and is 1 1/2" wide. Circa 1943-1948, the "Armadillo" design was originally created by Valentin Vidaurreta. There are several different versions, both in jewelry and belts. This bracelet has two opposing discs set in the center of a suede strap with a silver buckle closure. The strap is very fine leather, with suede on the outside and smooth leather on the inside. I had an artisan leather craftsman custom make the strap to replace the worn one which was on here.
