An early sterling brooch by Mexican silversmith Matilde Poulat who signed her pieces "MATL" beginning in 1934 until her death in 1960. The motifs of this pin- doves and tiny bells- are ones she used often.The doves have coral eyes and the bells have turquoise dangles. This pin measures 2" long and 1 7/8" wide. It is in fine original condition and signed for MATL in two places on the reverse. This is a wonderful and inspired early MATL piece.

An exquisite sterling and moonstone bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. A have never seen this Antonio design before and believe it to be quite rare. There are moonstones bezel set within each of the 10 links of the bracelet. This bracelet is solid at 84 grams and measures 6 3/4" around in the inside when clasped. It is 3/4" wide. The highly polished smooth tiger eye is absolutely gorgeous and it appears that the sterling wire wrap is one continuous piece ending with the ball decoration. This is a gorgeous custom made, handmade moonstone and genuine ruby pin set in sterling. It is c.1940 and measures 3 1/4" long including the dangling moonstone,and 2 1/2" diameter.
