Early Matilde Poulat bracelet in the jeweled style inextricably associated with her, this is a true collector's item from Matl's first creative period. Pieces like this become all the more difficult to find and this example is gorgeous. The amethysts are open-backed here with interesting inclusions yet no chips or breaks, and the turquoise cabs all channel-set, exhibiting slight, visually pleasing color variations. The bracelet is 7 1/8" long (wearable) by 1 9/16" wide and weighs 65.9 grams...

Gorgeous set of Margot de Taxco dangle earrings, I believe this design is rather difficult to find in this form and I am thrilled to present it here. Ovals, curves, spheres and domes all combine to create a delightful pair of teardrop treasures that measure 1 7/8" long by 3/4" wide. The earrings weigh 14.6 grams (for the set) and are fully and appropriately marked with Margot's signature, Eagle 16 assay mark and des. no 5740 (I believe; it's double stamped and difficult to read). Dating in the ...

Vintage Margot de Taxco sterling silver astrological pendant necklace, this one is for the Leo in your life and like all Margot's zodiac jewelry, sculptural and heavy. I have paired the pendant with a substantial, hand-wrought Mexican chain of the same period and the two look like they always belonged together. The pendant has a diameter of 1 9/18" (not including the bail) and adds a 2" drop to the chain which is itself 30" long (easily adjustable due to the hook clasp). The chain only weighs a...

Miniature mandolin musical brooch pin by Reuge, Swiss, gilded 800 silver and blue enamel. Circa 1970s. Size: 3 inches length. This little gem is fashioned in gilded silver, with blue enamel, in the form of a musical instrument - a mandolin. Beneath the strings, it has a miniature painting of a pianist. The musical clock-work mechanism is entirely mechanical, and, best of all, it is actually a piece of jewelry that can be worn as a brooch. In working condition, it plays the theme song from Lov...
