The lower section has a cylinder roll-top with burl panel, revealing a pull-out writing surface and cubby holes, above 5 drawers and a cupboard. The upper section has two glazed doors and adjustable shelves.

The trunk features solid brass fittings including the lock, latches and heavy brass handles. These handles will never fall off unlike the leather ones which dry out, crack and fade away. Birch with cherry drawer fronts cross-banded in mahogany and with line inlay. Cookie corner top above delicately turned and reeded legs with high feet and a shaped apron. All original with round, tilting beveled glass mirror, metal coat hooks (4 large, 2 small and 2 swivel), two umbrella/cane holders with carved barley twist front supports and tin drip pans, lift-up seat with storage beneath, and decorative beading. Size: 77" ht. x 45" wide x 13" deep. Original maker's label on reverse. Excellent condition.

Deco style bar unit with mottled glass top and side panels in a gilded cabinet. Circa 1950s. Probably Italian. One half of the top hinges upward to reveal a liquor compartment fitted for bottles, while in the other half one of the front side panels opens outward for storage. Size: 55.5" long x 29.25" high x 18.25" deep.

This sophisticated design is the work of the Polish workshop of ORNO, in Warsaw, made ca. 1965. The curved, open, ovular pendant has a slight twist to it, exposing the highly oxidized interior to all sides, so there is no back or front. The surface features molded horizontal scoring enhanced with oxidation. There are a couple of spots, visible on one side, where the mold left a couple of small, smooth spots...
